My mother is at The Wyndmoor Marion. My sister put her there, and I've gotten to know the staff over the last five months and they've been a huge help. They know what they're dealing with and how to take care of mom. She's in assisted living and we're just moving her downstairs to the memory ward. The staff has been a huge help to me in getting things taken care of and putting extra effort into helping Mom. My only fault with the place is the food. They need to have better and more nutritious meals than what the older people are used to eating. They have activities pretty much every day. They have everything from exercise to a spa and a hair salon, pharmacy, and doctors. For the cost and the care that she's getting, it's a good value.

I visited The Wyndmoor Marion. They have very friendly staff, it's clean, and they're building new rooms so that attracted me. The staff there was helpful. They have a whirlpool tub for the community, the grounds are pleasant and you can sit outside, and they have a community dining area. The room itself has a small kitchenette, a refrigerator, and a microwave, there are bars in the shower and things that make it easy.

We really liked Brookdale Marion. We tried to place our mother there, but when we took her there, she had some behavioral issues, so they were not able to keep her. They did follow up with us after that, though. I would really recommend them, but they just couldn’t handle people with behavioral issues. The unit was like an apartment. It was a private room. The facility was a locked unit with 12 rooms. The facility was in very nice shape before, but they were finishing up with the remodeling. It was looking very nice with lots of different options to get patients involved.

The facility was very nice and clean, but we thought the rooms were too small and that was the main thing about Sterling House of Marion. At that day, I think the residents are going to a bus trip, but I am not sure where they were going.

Everything was fine at Sterling House. I have an aunt who lives there and she is doing really well there. The rooms weren’t big enough though for my in-laws so we didn’t choose this place. My aunt doesn’t quite need nursing care but the family is really pleased with how she’s doing at Sterling House.
