"My sister has moved into The Terrace at Denison. I like the caring attitude of all the staff, and the atmosphere is not hospital-like. There are pets and birds and aquariums. It looks like a place where you could feel at home. She still wants to go home, but other than that she seems happy and is eating well, which was an important factor. She hasn't been there long. She is in memory care, and they have programs for them. They're very helpful. So far, everybody has been wonderful and the food looks good. She eats three meals a day, so it's appetizing. It is not a new facility, but it appeared clean. They take her to doctors' appointments. She's not in assisted living, and the area looks clean."

"My mom got there at The Homestead of Denison yesterday afternoon. Before, I had an aunt who was over there. She liked it there. It is a really nice place. It is really up-to-date. It is not an older facility. It has a bigger room and also a big dayroom that is really bright. The nurse's station is right there in the dayroom too, which I like the best. It is a good place. My mom's room is a whole lot bigger, and her bathroom is bigger. There are two beds in the room, and each patient has their own nightstand. There is also another table that is built in on one side of my mother's bed. It is a lot nicer and a lot bigger than the other place. "

"My mother is in Mullican Care Center and our overall experience so far was very good. They communicate very well with the needs of my mother, and anything that's going on with my mother, they call and let me know. And also they provide good care for my mother. There's good communication with her, with the nurses, and with what's going on with her. Her overall care has been good. So far, everything has been very good. We've asked her about the food and she thinks it's good. It's been 3 weeks, and everything for the time that she's there has been really good. The cleanliness that I've seen with my mother has been good, so the cleanliness seems good."

"Dont let the small size fool you! This home is large where it counts! Mainly the size of the employees hearts and their ability to care. They dont just provide good care, they do care and thats what makes all the difference. "

"My husband is in Calera Manor Nursing Home. The facility is very clean for a nursing home and I never smelled anything bad. The nurses are all very nice and they always answered all my questions. My husband's room is nothing fancy. He has the room to himself, and it's just the standard nursing home room. He plays dominoes, and he loves the food. It is a very good facility. They will take care of your loved one. It is just a good experience."

"I toured Settlers Ridge Care Center. I loved everybody there. The admin was amazing. She walked me through everything. Her name is Emily. She was very helpful. She went out of her way and even stayed almost an hour after talking with us. Just amazing. There was no smell. It was very clean. I saw the lounge rec area, and it was fine. They had a big outdoor enclosed area for memory care. They have these two huge fat rabbits that live out there, and one of the nursing home residents takes care of them. They allow them to help feed and water and have a purpose."

"I went to take a tour of this nursing home in an effort to find a suitable place for my grandmother. The first thing I noticed was how clean the facility is. There was no smell of anything but cleanliness, and the staff was very friendly. The patient rooms seemed to be spacious and well taken care of. The residents are treated like royalty, and are always being helped and attended to. Meals seemed to be good for what it was, and fully nutritionally balanced. It seemed the staff was always ready to help out with whatever was needed. The only drawback I saw was that the day room was the same as the dining room. There was a nice courtyard where residents could go out if they desired and smoke or just enjoy the gardens. There is an onsite beauty and dental clinic which gives the residents confidence about themselves. Overall, a great facility and it seems well maintained and taken care of. "

"Both my parents were at this facility. They received the best of care. The staff was very personable and caring. The administration is very impressive. Very well run. "

"The room was very dirty. We ended up bring our own cleaning supplies and cleaned the room. Mom was on oxygen, they had no working oxygen concentrator. We brought hers from home. She needed breathing treatments via nebulization. they had no working nebulizer. She was on a mechanical soft diet. They served her bone in chicken. the brakes on the bed did not work. It almost rolled out from under my mom. Someone came to fix it, crawled under the bed. Told us it was ok. It was not. Again it rolled. We fixed it ourselves. Also they had a dog running free in the place. We took our loved one out after 3 days. "

"My husband spent the last 2 years & 4 months in the memory care wing at Clyde Cosper. He passed away on February 5, 2025. The care he received was amazing. He was honored every day. The staff ay Clyde Cosper is exceptional and there was never a day that I worried about his well-being. The administration, nurses, social workers, and aides are like family and they were with me every step of the way. I miss them because they were so special to John & I. I will forever be indebted to them all. God bless the entire staff at Clyde W. Cosper"

"The reason why we chose Pilot Point Care Center for mom-in-law was because that's where her mom and other relatives went, and it's just close to home. It's a very, very caring nursing home. They are very concerned and they're excellent. My mom-in-law likes some of their meals very much, and she's a picky eater. They have bingo every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. They also bring in singers. They have church every Sunday and then other things occasionally come in, but nothing regularly."

"The rooms are VERY small and crowded The staff is usually ALWAYS busy talking and do NOT make time for patients or their visitors concerned"

"The facility is old but clean. Could use a paint job but that doesn't bother me. The staff is really attentive and mostly great. They have a really niced wing for veterans. Room doors can be left open for socializing with other patients. Food is well above par. Even soft food is not NOT thrown in a grinder and divided between cups and bowls. It is separate and tastes good. This is a locked facility which I think is a good thing. Parking while visiting is easy."
