"Prairie Estates was recommended to me. The rooms were nice, and the staff was very nice. They had a lot of activities. They used too many medicines as treatment, and my mom would sleep for a day and a half. They have high school students that come in on Fridays and work with the residents. They also have people come in and sing, bible study, and arts and crafts. They have plain medium size rooms with a moderate amount of light. They have two separate dining rooms. The security and safety was very good. It was really hard to find the nursing staff there. There should be more availability to direct contact to the nursing staff. "

"I do not think Select Rehabilitation Hospital of Denton was that good. My wife said it was. I do not think I could be a fair judge of it. I have lived there for a while. The staff was very distant. I just really did not think that much of them myself. It was not that nice. I was satisfied, and it was clean, but there wasn’t anything spectacular. "

"I am so grateful to the staff at Corinth. I fought to get my mom out of a terrible facility and Ebony, communicated with me and my family consistently to ease our worry. She even called me on mom’s cell phone so I could talk to her. The staff took great care of mom. I recommend this facility!"

"Gainesville is wonderful. It is always well staffed. They feed them very well and if they are hungry between meals, they give them snacks. The place is very clean. They have activities in the morning and in the middle of the afternoon. They keep them busy. They are very good in communicating to me, if there is a change in medications or something is going on. I have not been there a couple of days and they call and tell me what is going on. "

"My mother lived for five years at Renaissance Care Center, an assisted living facility in Gainesville, Texas. When she went in, her condition was not very severe. She had bad arthritis that limited her motion, which was the primary reason for her stay. As she was there, she developed severe stomach cancer, which later took her life.The people who worked directly with her were wonderful to her, and it was clear that they truly admired my mom. My mother was, quite frankly, pretty mean in here later years. The people at Renaissance were very understanding of the pain she was in, and were able to overlook the hostility that she showed them and recognize her for who she was under it all.I am grateful for the time she spent there, and for the way that she was treated. She was not humiliated, or made to feel inferior as a result of her condition. She was instead reminded that those who have lived the longest should be valued, and valued she was. "

"My husband was in Belterra Health and Rehabilitation for physical therapy. It was OK, but the rooms were a little small, and the bed was not comfortable. The liaison was very friendly, and they have a lot of activities. I didn't like the food. When they dismissed my husband, they just rolled him to the front door in a wheelchair, took the wheelchair back, and left him with a cane."

"I would like to comment on my recent stay at Baybrooke Village and the kind and the expert care of one tech. Miss Denise made my stay there the best it could be. "mom moved here after developing sepsis at another Nursing home. She was admitted during the omicron surge in early Dec, the facility has been very attentive to regularly test employees/residents and make sure we use proper PPE when visiting. Over the 2 months she has been at VGF - things have become much more organized and she gets her regular showers and sheets changed. The staff and rehab staff have been very good with my mom to make sure she gets up and walks with her walker. The one area to improve would be the menu and type of food served. "

"Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation was excellent. It was clean and modern. The nurses and the physical therapy people were great. I would recommend it to anybody. I got well very quickly there. The rooms were great. They were big with lots of sunshine. Security was excellent. There was a police officer at the desk, and everything else was locked. You have to be with somebody to be able to get outside. The food was good. "

"The facility, amenities, and staff are top notch. From the moment I arrived I was treated with respect and dignity. I never had to wait long for help when needing it. If never waited long for someone to come when I used the call button. The therapist and doctors worked diligently with me so I would be able to go home sooner. They worked to make sure my dietary needs were met as I have gluten allergies. "

"She was referred and transferred to Park Manor by her physician. The rooms were clean and well-kept. The staff were very attentive and receptive when we asked questions, very helpful too. There were also family conferences. They had a code at the entrance so the patients could not wander outside. Maybe they could do a few repairs but everything is good. Nonetheless, I would recommend to others. "
