"My friend went to McKeesport Community Living Center. It was very nice. The building was nice outside. Parking was good. It was small, but it was nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were very, very nice to us. The insurance paid for it."

"The thing that my family and I like most about Riverside Nursing is the variety of activities that are offered, especially bingo, because my grandmother loves bingo. The staff here also explained about the entertainment and the activities available here, such as Kennywood trips as well as luncheons. We really comfortable with the staff as they are very polite and are willing to help no matter what at the drop of a hat and we really feel that my grandmother will get the good care that she needs at this facility. "

"We chose Riverside Health and Rehab Center because we ran out of options. I liked the nurses. They are very nice to the patients and they're there for them. From the meals that my mother has had over the last 60 days or so, they looked very, very tasty and smelled very good. She was having a movie night one time. Another time they were having dinner in this big dining room. The activities for them are very good. They interact with each other. Their facilities and amenities are plentiful compared to other places that I've seen. You're getting what you're paying for."

"It was beautiful, but the nurses was clueless. You can tell they were fresh out of school and did not have a clue how to care for elderly. For the money it costs to live there, you think they would hire more experienced nursing staff. This is an important aspect to a retirement community. It doesn't matter how beautiful it is, it the staff that matters. After doing some research, came to find out they have a high turn over rate for the employees, so this could be why they had inexpienced nurses. "

I would highly recommend that if you are looking for a nursing home, look no further than McMurray Hills Manor. The beds are filling up fast due to their care and love for the patients. "I was transferred to ManorCare Whitehall after a total knee replacement. My room was on the MedBridge unit. In my two weeks there, I only encountered kindness, compassion and caring. The nursing staff was excellent in meeting my needs and the physical therapy and occupational therapy staffs were just amazing. I really believe that because of their steadfast determination to improve my mobility, after one month post surgery, I am back to my day to day activities and mobility. I would highly recommend this faciility to anyone considering rehab services after surgery. Thanks so much!! "

"Golden Living was horrible, and we will never go back there again. The food was alright, and they were terribly understaffed. The noise level was atrocious; it was so noisy all the time. The therapy department was good, and I did like it but the nursing side of it was pretty intolerable for him. "

"I can't say enough about the care my mother has received here at Friendship Village. She had many challenges when first being brought from the hospital. She has done beautifully. The therapy has been absolutely amazing- she has had physical, occupational, and speech therapies. The nursing staff is very patient and caring. They go the extra mile to care for her and make her feel at home. We are very happy to be bringing her home. It was touch and go for awhile. They have done an amazing job!"

"Briarcliff Pavilion Health and Rehabilitation Center has very good aides. The nurses seem very caring. The food seems OK. My wife is in a 2-bedroom apartment with a bathroom. It also has closets and nightstands. It is adequate in size. "

"The rooms could use a paint job to brighten them up. The staff is always kind and accommodating when I need assistance with my family member. It is always festive looking during all the holidays for the resistant's and they definitely make an effort to try to improve the place."

"My uncle is in Mt Lebanon Rehabilitation and Wellness Center. They've been OK, but with the pandemic, a lot of things have changed. He's been there for at least five years. If you're in that area, the location is OK, but I have never seen a mall or anything near there."

"I have to say I didn't relive what a great rehab this would be.I pleasantly surprised how caring and compassionate everyone is all the way to the top of management.When I got there was I was still in a lot of pain but my nurse that day was linda and she was wonderful and I felt very comfortable and felt I was in very good hands.I highly recommend this facility.even the head of the kitchen Gary came to my room and make sure my needs were met due to my diabetes.Everday all of the staff greeted me a smile and kind words I really think it's a great staff.I truly was pleasantly surprised and very happy that I chose eldercrest it is much much more than a nursing home.
