Lawson Nursing Home was very good. They had nice activities, and they were very caring staff. The rooms were smaller but bright. The workers were pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable. The entire facility was clean and orderly. The people that were around and not in their rooms were out near the nurse’s stations. It was a very nice place. We enjoyed it.

I would recommend Lawson Nursing Home as I have never recommended anything before. We put our dad there to recover after a hip operation and he was unable to do anything. He was bedridden. But their staff was superior. They were nice and are friendly. They gave him therapy, occupational therapy and skilled nursing services and then a doctor comes by once a month. They got rid of all of his disorders. When my father went back to the hospital, they begged that we bring him back there because they want to rehabilitate him. So, for 7 months he hadn't been walking. But a week ago, they got him on his feet after surgery. He walked the length of a football field. The facility was not that pretty. But it was really homey and nice and it was well kept clean and they had a big lounge and dining room and it's more homey than being in a big professional nursing home.
