"My mother-in-law was a resident of Green Meadows Skilled Nursing and Rehab. Her care was top notch. Her rehab went very well. They were right on top of things as far as getting her where she had to be, and she's done very well with it. She's hard to please food wise because she has been a caterer all her life, so things have to be really good for her. Everything was very clean. It's just an older facility. They have a beautiful area where they can sit outside and talk and do things. They have some planters where people can help with gardening. They have their bingo. They have a euchre night to just keep the people interested in what they're doing."

"Copeland Oaks is a very large place, so you have to be able to get around the facility and the grounds. It is a little pricey, but it offers a whole lot. The facility is very clean and very individualized. They have a lot of activities. They have a pool, an exercise room, art rooms, woodworking rooms, a library, and a chapel. They have so many different things."

"I visited the nursing home in Louisville Ohio when my grandparents lived there last year before they passed away. The facility was super clean and the staff was very friendly. the facility had a lot of open space so i didnt feel cluttered the whole time i was there, and the property outsides were well maintained. the only complaint i had of the experiences was that the food served there was sub par. it all tasted as if every mean was a tv dinner. "

"My mother is at Auburn Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation. She has been there for two months now. It's a smaller facility. They have good nurses there, and the physical therapy is working fine for her because she has gained some strength back and she can do different things. I'm not there with my mother all the time, but regarding activities, I know she has her therapy every morning and they do bingo a couple of times a week. I have been there with her on a few meals, and their food looks like a balanced meal. They have a therapy room and a salon, other than that, I have not asked what's available there."

"The nursing staff are very good at keeping me informed of what is going on. My mom feels the food is good and the place is always clean. My mom is clean and dressed when I go to visit. They do what they can with the residents to keep their time filled, although I personally would like to see more activities in the Alzheimer's area. I am happy that my mom is here and it gives me peace of mind."

"When visiting this facility for the first time in order to evaluate it for my mother, I noticed that the staff was beyond friendly and willing to go out of their way to answer any questions that I had. After admitting my mother into the facility I am beyond happy with their service and their ability to care for patients as if they were their own family. They offer up a variety of services including 24 hour nurse coverage. Since admitting my mother to this facility I am overjoyed and amazed at their performance and their ability to surpass my expectations puts this facility in one of the highest ranks for elderly care. Their facility itself is spotless and they make sure they are able to take care of any problems or needs that the client or patient may have. In my eyes, this facility is great. They do not disappoint. "

"My grandfather lived out his final days at this facility. The nursing staff is phenomenal they went above and beyond for our family and we will be forever greatful. The building its self is older and can use an update but it was always clean and they were always kind to us. "

"My mom was at The Lodge At New Dawn for rehab. It's a really nice place. They were really geared about communicating with you. They didn't have a problem with calling you back on things. They would call later that day or the following morning. They took the time to discuss things with you. I live in Kentucky and they would make a conference call. The place was clean. The people looked like they were well taken care of. The food looked great, and the rooms looked great. The staff was great. My mom was really happy with the food."

"Bethany was a very nice place with wonderful staff. It just was a little small. They only had four men in the assisted living part, and so we were trying to find something a little bigger for our dad. The common areas were very clean and cheerful, and their activities calendar looked fairly active."

"My mother needed just a little of help with her medications, but wanted to stay active with her friends. Glenwood provides this for her and more. We love she has her freedom but is still in a safe place. "

"Canton Christian Home is one of the nicest Assisted Living Facilities for someone located in or around the Canton area. They offer a great breakfast menu and even have servers come to the table. It's a lot like a restaurant that is located inside the building.Dining is a large aspect since the focus is on community within the assisted living facility. They really push events and other activities to keep the Canton Christian community on the move. Special events are on a weekly basis, and there's always something to do there.The care is another great thing. They go out of the way to keep people happy and fulfill their every desire. Special requests are common among people living there. They can even reserve a parking space. So grandfather has his car on site.Another great aspect is the location for visitors. There's plenty of dining options nearby along with plenty of parking. "

"My grandpa was admitted to Aultman Woodlawn after having a hip replacement done at Aultman Hospital. They assured us that this would be the best place for him to go. We were always checking on his because he had a heart condition. He was doing better but we felt the need to come by daily to support him. He was doing very well, except that he kept complaining about his incision being sore. The nurses kept reassuring us that it was fine and just part of the healing process. He continued to complain about it his entire stay there. He was released and ended up back in the hospital the following day due to infection from his incision. He ended up becoming very ill and passing away. It was terrible and sadly could have all been prevented if he was properly taken care of. The physical therapy staff there was great. They helped him get on his feet quickly and seemed to really care about the progress he was making. The nursing staff was the unfortunate part. Hopefully they have been able to get things together since this happened. It's awful to lose someone because of something that could have been prevented. "
