"I have my mother in Windsor’s assisted living and I’m very pleased. The rooms themselves are on the larger end of the spectrum while their common rooms are a bit smaller than other facilities. That being said they seem to have more of the community spaces than the competition and the building is always neat and clean compared to the others I visited in the community. The price seems higher but at the end of the day is on par or lower than what we were paying just down the street at a newer facility. The staff is excellent and attentive and mom likes the food so we’re very pleased and glad we chose to move here. The therapy options have really helped my mom and she likes that things are tailored to her needs and not a one size fits nine product like the last place. "

"Bethany is rated a 5-star in the state of Ohio. They are absolutely wonderful. They have assisted living and rehab there and my mother was in their rehab center. And I can't say enough good about them. They are wonderful. The staff and the doctors are phenomenal. It's a family-operated business. The mother is a doctor, the father runs the place, the son is the computer person, and the daughter is a nurse practitioner and they are absolutely wonderful. They have two dogs and fish tanks. They have food for the guests that are coming in. They have soup and sandwiches and this is for the people that lived there too. If you come and visit, you can actually dine with the patient in the dining room and they bring you the food. The food was good. "

"My brother is at Stone Crossings, and he is doing well. He is actually getting better at the facility. We had a couple of meetings with them, and they had fixed some of the issues that we had. His room is very comfortable. He has a patio outside of his room, where he can go out and smoke. The food is OK. He is not crazy about it. The people who works there are very nice and very helpful as well. They have a new administrator who seems like she would make some very good necessary changes. "

"My grandfather lived out his final days at this facility. The nursing staff is phenomenal they went above and beyond for our family and we will be forever greatful. The building its self is older and can use an update but it was always clean and they were always kind to us. "

"My friend been living here for 6 years now and he really like this place. They have lots of activities and play cards with his many friends and the food not to bad. But they need more help with laundry because he go with out clothes sometimes because there no one to wash them. His food not on time like it was, no works their also. And less baths he gets because no workers. But he really loves this place and his room mate . I pray they get more workers. Thy"

"I found Bel Air Senior Living Community for myself. Number one, it is affordable for me, and I get some assistance with that. They provide round-the-clock nursing aides, laundry, and meals. It's very, very cozy, conveniently located, and very, very well kept. My apartment is very nice. It's a quaint little space, and I really, really like it. It came completely furnished. The food is great. I'm a very big eater, but I'm a small statue. It is genetic, so I eat quite a bit, and they've always asked if I needed anything extra. They serve you, and they remove your plate from the table. They just about everything as if you're almost like royalty here, which I am not. It's very nice here. They have a physical therapy room, a theater room, and a salon. There are three assisted living buildings, and the female tech comes to each building on certain days and times and does nails. There is a walking distance, which depends on the person. So I can sign in and sign out on that. There are parks down the road. There's shopping nearby. The grounds are awesome. They're well kept, and it's a really good job. They do a great job. So far, everyone seems very friendly. They don't hesitate to explain something if you don't understand, and if you need some guidance, they are always willing to help. There are aides, nurses, an activity lady, and then there are ones that come and do your housekeeping. Every day, they come to your room to remove your trash, and if you want your room cleaned, they'll do that for you. The value for money is exceptional."

"I was at Altercare of Hartville Center for three months. I was there in a bedroom with another person. We went to meals and various things, like the available entertainment. The staff was OK and doing well. The food was OK, too. They had various games, a library, newspapers, and magazine. "

"We have placed my father-in-law in Altercare of Alliance Center for Rehab & Nursing Care. They have a unit for dementia and keep the residents busy during the day with crafts and singing. The staff is prompt to come to us and getting him whatever it is he needs. He is using the staff physician at the facility. He gets all three meals there, too. I would recommend them for anyone who has a loved one with some dementia issues. "

"Our family found this facility after my grandmother was a resident of a nursing home that was not providing her with quality care. And we needed to find a suitable facility. When we toured this facility we were instantly convinced that this was the place for our grandmother. It's a small facility so residents receive more personal care. It may not be as modern appearance-wise as some other local facilities. But they treat their patients with love and understanding. After the horrible experience that we had with another nursing home this is a welcome relief. We can relax knowing that our grandmother is in great hands."

"I went there two months ago. My wife's brother stayed there. It was just satisfactory. It's just two big, long hallways. They have double-occupancy rooms, it was basically clean, and the staff was pretty helpful, but it's an old facility. They could improve on personal attentiveness without having to be asked to do things. The food was acceptable for a facility like that."

" I visited many nursing homes before we placed my mom in Astoria, .. I have never regretted choosing this facility. It is a beautiful place with a wonderful and caring staff. The rehab team was great and I can't say enough about the activity ladies, their awesome! I take my hat off to all the nurses and aides. They have a very difficult job and they do it with compassion and respect.."

"My grandpa was admitted to Aultman Woodlawn after having a hip replacement done at Aultman Hospital. They assured us that this would be the best place for him to go. We were always checking on his because he had a heart condition. He was doing better but we felt the need to come by daily to support him. He was doing very well, except that he kept complaining about his incision being sore. The nurses kept reassuring us that it was fine and just part of the healing process. He continued to complain about it his entire stay there. He was released and ended up back in the hospital the following day due to infection from his incision. He ended up becoming very ill and passing away. It was terrible and sadly could have all been prevented if he was properly taken care of. The physical therapy staff there was great. They helped him get on his feet quickly and seemed to really care about the progress he was making. The nursing staff was the unfortunate part. Hopefully they have been able to get things together since this happened. It's awful to lose someone because of something that could have been prevented. "
