My father has gotten worse since being admitted. He lays in a urine soaked bed for hours. He now has other health concerns due to lack of care. The staff my mother has spoken to were rude and unhelpful. We are now in the process of moving him. I would strongly warn anyone against allowing loved one (or even a pet) to be admitted to this facility.

Most of the employees that work here are very caring, but there are a few bad apples that slip thru the cracks and do not belong there. Those are the ones who are neglectful to the Residents or smart mouths towards them. And treat the Residents like they are burdens. All the Residents hear is You have to wait, You have to wait, blah blah. You want coffee, You have to wait, you want changed you have to wait. Keep the bad apples out and it would be a decent place.

I have a family member in this facility and the way they treat her is ridiculous. I think they treat a dog better then a human being. My family member isn't able to get up and walk around, in the girls act like she is bothering them to come in and take care of her and change your diaper and stuff. I'm sorry but I think that was supposed to be there jobs.

My father is in Altercare, they've been wonderful and helpful, and we're very happy. The rooms were very clean and roomy, the staff was excellent, and he seemed to like the food. They have crafts, Bingo, and people come in and play music; my father enjoyed it. I definitely would recommend Altercare.

I visited the nursing home in Louisville Ohio when my grandparents lived there last year before they passed away. The facility was super clean and the staff was very friendly. the facility had a lot of open space so i didnt feel cluttered the whole time i was there, and the property outsides were well maintained. the only complaint i had of the experiences was that the food served there was sub par. it all tasted as if every mean was a tv dinner.
