Gables of Canton was very good. Everybody there seemed happy. One of our ex-neighbors has been there for about six months and he likes it. Everything was good. The staff was very good. We sat down before we even did a tour. They answered all my son's questions and he was more than satisfied. The rooms they showed me were all studios. They have somewhere two studios that are connected by a door. If a couple wants to move in, they'd each have their own room. They don't have any two bedrooms like some of the other ones do. People were sitting around in the eating area. We weren't right there at lunchtime but they were sitting around, talking and they have an activity room with games and stuff in it. They have a beauty salon. We saw a library and a courtyard. We did not try the meal, but they have a certain soup of the week, they have a salad of the week and then they have an entree every day. If you don't want what they have, you can order anything you want.

My mom was at The Lodge At New Dawn for rehab. It's a really nice place. They were really geared about communicating with you. They didn't have a problem with calling you back on things. They would call later that day or the following morning. They took the time to discuss things with you. I live in Kentucky and they would make a conference call. The place was clean. The people looked like they were well taken care of. The food looked great, and the rooms looked great. The staff was great. My mom was really happy with the food.
