"My son is staying at Columbia Manor Care Center. The location is wonderful because it's less than two miles from where I live. They've been very responsive to some of his medical needs, which has pleased me. At this point, the biggest problem is that the people who are there, on the whole, are considerably older than he is and considerably more limited in what they can do. So, he doesn't have much of a social life because there are so few people who are still sharp enough that they can visit with him and form friendships and so on. I'm hoping in time that will change. It is clean and nicely kept. I remember years ago, reading about evaluating when you visit nursing homes, they said the first thing you should do when you walk in is, notice the smell, the odor; and it is very pleasant. The staff is very helpful, friendly, and responsive to Brian's needs. It's clean and the folks are friendly. It's pretty plain, but I'd much rather have it plain and clean, than fancy and not well-kept."

"My grandma was in this place and they took very good care of her and treated her like she was their own family. Through the trying times of Covid the staff are still the same. I cannot express the level of care and professionalism they showed us. "

"We went over Lenoir Woods, and it was pretty good. They're excellent. Everything we looked at was very nice. They've been in the business for a long time, and they seem to know what they're doing. The people seemed to be happy with it. Everything is spotless. It looks like it's brand new. They did complete the renovation in 2017, and it looked beautiful. It's close to the doctors. My daughter lives in Columbia, and my sons when they come to visit me have a place to stay. They provide provisions for visitors and everything."

"My husband has moved into The Stuart House, LLC. It's tidy, neat, and it's well-staffed. My husband is clean, and he has clean clothes. He's got shaving, and his nails are clipped; it seems he is being properly cared for. The facility is clean, tidy, and nothing fancy. He shares it with two other gentlemen, and the three of them seem like they get along together. One gentleman has shared the same occupation as he did, so he's got someone to talk to that they can share with each other. I've never tasted the food, but my husband's been in a couple of skilled nursing care facilities since he had his accident; all I ever heard about was how horrible the food was, and his review there is it's pretty good. The staff is good. They always seem to be there. If I ask a question, the answer is complete and knowledgeable."

"After having BIG problems with another nursing home, I set out to find a place for my father where he would be cared for properly and not just drugged-up and put in the corner. I visited many facilities in the Jefferson City-Fulton area and was most favorably impressed from my first inspection of this facility until the end of Dad's life. There are so many stories I could relate of the excellent care that he received that it would be easy to fill a book. While looking at nursing homes, I tried to be very observant in trying to determine if the residents were clean, happy, well cared for, drugged-up, etc. as well as looking at the staff to see if they looked as if they looked overworked (so many looked frazzled by noon in other nursing homes) and how they were interacting with the residents. This place, while not being the newest facility I reviewed, was clean, in good repair, and the staff appeared to be taking good care of their charges. I was impressed by the menu, and remember being told how one old lady loved cheeseburgers"”so she got one for lunch every time she asked. I found a number of innovations in this facility that I didn't notice elsewhere. I told my brothers about my findings and we decided to move Dad immediately. Remembering the conditions at the former nursing home where he was a resident, after checking him in, my inspections continued. Sometimes I'd visit in the mornings, sometimes in the afternoon, late at night, and on the weekends. Not once was I disappointed. When we checked Dad in, the administrator asked about his favorite foods, clothes, what he liked to do, etc. She asked about our concerns and answered many questions and the communication remained excellent throughout his stay. There are so many things I could relate here"”and all positive. They took him outside when he wanted, brought him his favorite snacks, and cared for him like he was family. His clothes were always clean and weren't constantly becoming "lost" (stolen) like they were at the other place. He was always clean, shaved, teeth brushed, hair combed, and usually wearing his favorite hat. He told me once that "This is a pretty nice hotel." And I sincerely think he was "at home". I highly recommend Fulton Nursing and Rehab. In my opinion, what they did for my father was way beyond what my brothers or I had expected. "

"I have nothing but positive things to say about this place. Staff are kind and knowledgeable. The food is amazing. My mother was here for rehab services after a recent fall at home and enjoyed her 3 month stay. 10/10 would recommend Kingdom Care Senior Living for your loved ones. "

"Recently I have seen so many positive changes with this nursing home. When visiting my love one in the past, the homes was dark, nasty, and overall care just sucked but since the new administrator has taken over the building has been glowing. They are remodeling. The outside is decorated and looks amazing. The overall atmosphere is so wonderful. If you would asked me what I thought of this place six months ago I would never been able to praise this place as much as I can today. I hope they can keep up the good work. They are back in the dining room, residents are out and about. Yes they are still wearing mask but at least they are not left in their room. Activities are in full swing. It’s just amazing. The residents are in such a better mood. "

"My great grandmother was at this nursing facility. It was not the best facility, however, even though the surroundings were not the best, there were some staff nurses who truly did care about the residents. Watching my grandmother in Ashley Manor was a very difficult one, but I knew, thanks to Trisha, she would be taken care of with respect and dignity. Ashley Manor did not have the best Director at hand at the time, but since then, it has come leaps and bounds. I use to visit her quite a bit, take walks with her, talk to the nurses on staff there and make sure she was getting the utmost care. Unfortuneately, there was just not enough staff like Trisha on hand. There as staff members who mistreated patients there and it simply broke my heart. They were rude to patients, and made them feel as an inconvenience. This should not be the case at all. When meds were being passed, the nurses would tease the patients and say "Stewart, you think you would live til tomorrow if I didn't give you your medicine". Those things are the reason why the family chose to finally remove my greate grandmother. She spend her last days at home and passed peacefully in the care of her own family. "

"My parents are residents of StoneBridge Oak Tree. The care is very good. I like the open areas. Their accommodation is very nice. They are in a 1-bedroom suite. They take an elevator to go to dinner and stuff, and they can sit outside and roam around if they want. It's very clean, too. The staff is very nice, and my dad said that they come in and talk to him now and then and spends an hour with him. My dad likes spicy stuff and everything, so he does not love dinner, but he loves breakfast. For activities, they have bingo, some music, and other activities. They also have board games and happy hour on Wednesdays. They have a beauty and barbershop. They take them to the store, too. They also have cable TV and a game room. A doctor also comes in."

"This facility does not have the care of their patients in mind, rather the bottom dollar is their main priority. Patients fall asleep at the table and eat with their hands, have been observed with food all over their clothes, and hair that appears dirty. Residents have also been observed with clothing soaked with urine while they waited my entire visit to be changed. I do not recommend this home to anyone who values their loved ones care or well being. "

"The new ownership has really changed this facility. It created an amazing culture among the staff which of course spreads to the residents. My dad can not stop signing the praises of this facility. He went in for Assisted Living but soon after needed more care and transitioned to the Nursing Facility. They take such good care of him!"

"My mom is at Villa Marie. We chose them because they were the only one with memory care and skilled nursing care facility available. They are welcoming, understanding, supportive, and helpful. I can't visit because of Covid, but we've had a couple of Zoom meetings, and they seem kind. I believe mom is safe, and it looks like she feels safe. It's just a feeling though because she is non-communicative and she can't tell me."

"The rooms are nice and comfortable. The staff is quick to respond to ones needs. They have a great Physical Therapy department that is devoted to assisting the patient to recovery. i can not write enough about their PT department. It is a top notch department. I would highly recommend their PT, as you can not get better care. They work with patient and their needs and display compassion. Their nursing staff is great as well. If you want top notch care, this is your place."

"My wife has been in Adams Street - A StoneBridge Community for seven weeks now. It's very neat and very clean, and they have fantastic food. The workers are very, very helpful and very nice. The food is always good. The rooms are nice and always clean. In terms of activities, they have quite a few classes. They have bingo, nail polish classes, and other games and stuff. Also, it was recommended by the hospital that's why I chose them."
