"The staff at Golden Living Center were very polite and helpful in answering all of our questions. They gave us a tour of the facility and explained the routine of a regular day for the occupants of the facility. It was a delightful experience and I recommend Golden Living Center to everyone that I know. The amenities were nice. The rooms were kind of small, but once everything was moved into the room, it felt like home. Grandpa loves the place, and wishes he would have done it earlier. The only negative thing that I can say about Golden Living Center is that the place did feel bland and too quiet for our needs. There wasn't much interaction or activities that we felt grandpa needed. "

"The doors are locked with passcode locks, many of the individuals there were allowed to roam about outside under the supervision of employees. Inside individuals were always out in the hallways rolling about in wheelchairs. In one of the visiting rooms there was a bird cage full of birds for the individuals to watch as well as tvs. The home has a local entertainer occasionally on the weekends. "

It was a Sunday and she had just participated in the services the facility offered and seemed quite content. I was offered to join in the afternoon activity and dessert which was pleasant. Her room is quite small and holds no closet room. She has been on a waiting list for a private room for years. "

She always took the time to inform our family on how our mother was doing as some of our family was out of state. She made sure we talked to our mother whenever possible. "

"Great assisted living facility. The nurses really care for their patients and the family members that come to visit are always talking about the great service and care. I was impressed when I visited due to the fact that we were offered refreshments and various options for entertainment. It made us feel as if we were visiting our friend in their own home. Overall, the refreshments were simple but it was such a kind gesture. Our friend has lived in the facility for about three years. She enjoys her time her and often raves about the kind nurses. She knows all of them by name and even recalls stories of their personal lives. I believe the nurses here at Loma genuinely love their patients. The only negative factor I can recall is the amount of patients living in the facility. The common areas seem a bit cramped during prime visiting hours. "
