My mom is at Villa Marie. We chose them because they were the only one with memory care and skilled nursing care facility available. They are welcoming, understanding, supportive, and helpful. I can't visit because of Covid, but we've had a couple of Zoom meetings, and they seem kind. I believe mom is safe, and it looks like she feels safe. It's just a feeling though because she is non-communicative and she can't tell me.

My mom put my grandma in this nursing home on Thursday. It was recommended she wait a week to 2 weeks before going to check on her. My Grandma has Alzheimer’s. We went in to check on her this morning regardless of what they told her and it was awful. She was slumped over in a chair by herself so drugged she couldn’t move or wake up. She was sitting in soiled adult underpants. It was pitiful. She took photo and video I’m sending it in to the dept of health and senior services. It wasn’t just my grandma either there was a ton of them slumped over and drugged. They didn’t want to deal with them so they just put them out like zoo animals. Check on your loved ones often, early, and unexpected.

A follow caregiver

I would give this facility a five star because of the individual personal care, The aides are friendly, personable, and professional. They address personal needs over and above primary care issues. My husband has made friends at the facility.

I was there for re-hab for 3 1/2 weeks. The food was good. The activities were well planned. I found the physical therapy team to be excellent. I was comfortable in my room. I found the nursing staff very caring.
