"The DON, A-DON and Paul are all very friendly people. You can see that change has been a good thing for this facility. Nurses and Staff are being held accountable which in return results in better care for the patients. The facility seems to be on the rise behind the leadership of their current management. "

"We put my mom at Hawthorne Inn of Danville. She did just fine there. She was there for 4 months. She was in the bounce back ward but about the time she was getting ready to be released to go home, she would have an episode and she would have to go back to the hospital and she'd have to start over again. That happened 3 or 4 times and then finally she just didn't bounce back. The staff was absolutely wonderful and was very caring. They cried when my mom died. They loved their patients and were very compassionate. Their nursing staff was top notch and they had good PT personnel. I was very happy with them. They're a 5-star facility. "

"My aunt spent Easter at Vermilion Manor for rehab due to hip surgery. She was very pleased and got to go home in 2 weeks. They obviously did their job by getting a PT and getting her back on her feet. However, at one point, my aunt fell and dislocated her hip. They had to take care of that but obviously they weren't watching her close enough at the time. It may not have been their fault but I'm going to give them an imperfect rating because that did happen. I don't know the circumstances of whether totally it was my aunt's fault or they took too long to come in that's why she had to get up on her own. We were only told that she fell and had to get back to the hospital to get set up with a brace and she had to start her rehab all over again. That particular incident could've had really bad repercussions. We're lucky it turned out okay in the end though. "

"This is a very nice Nursing home. The Staff and Residents are very kind and courteous. I would highly recommend this facility for employment or to set up residency. "

"I'm trying to get my sister move into Heritage Health Hoopeston. It's close to me, and it was very nice and really clean. On the scale of 1 to 10, it's at least a 9 or a 10. The staff who assisted me was very friendly. The living atmosphere was good. There were people sitting around, smiling and talking, and it just seemed really nice. When I was there, the residents were working on some kind of craft. It's clean, it's friendly, and the patients looked well cared for. The dining area was a big room with a big table and lots of chairs around it. It's very pleasant looking."

"My grandmother is at Pleasant Meadows Senior Living. We chose to move her there because it's one of the places that have skilled nurses who would work on her dementia. So, they provide the level of care that she needs. They have all kinds of things up there. They have a spa day where the girls come in and paint their nails. They have bingo and movie nights. They have a hair salon, which is important, and an ice cream parlor."
