My husband had been at another Danville facility for 3 days and had nothing good to say about it. He had his leg amputated and spent about 3 weeks here. The people are caring and attentive. They seem to have a quality staff. Nurses are helpful. He received excellent care. PT folks are wonderful. Even though he wanted to be home, he liked the people that took care of him.

My father is there in the dementia section they seem to not watch the patients and prefer to boot any that they find to require supervision. (Thus they are sending my father away after calling my mother several times on the phone to scream at her) especially a nurse called Jaime.

We put my mom at Hawthorne Inn of Danville. She did just fine there. She was there for 4 months. She was in the bounce back ward but about the time she was getting ready to be released to go home, she would have an episode and she would have to go back to the hospital and she'd have to start over again. That happened 3 or 4 times and then finally she just didn't bounce back. The staff was absolutely wonderful and was very caring. They cried when my mom died. They loved their patients and were very compassionate. Their nursing staff was top notch and they had good PT personnel. I was very happy with them. They're a 5-star facility.
