My grandmother is at Pleasant Meadows Senior Living. We chose to move her there because it's one of the places that have skilled nurses who would work on her dementia. So, they provide the level of care that she needs. They have all kinds of things up there. They have a spa day where the girls come in and paint their nails. They have bingo and movie nights. They have a hair salon, which is important, and an ice cream parlor.

My mom moved to Pleasant Meadows Senior Living. So far, she's doing a lot better. She's clean when I go see her, and she's up and kind of moving around a little. The food there seems pretty good. She eats it most of the time, but we also bring her food all the time. The staff is very nice and friendly. Most of the staff know her. They come by and say hi to her and say her name. They have been pretty pleasant and easy to work with. They have a lot of activities going on, but my mom is not a sociable person. They have a chapel, and a beauty shop where she gets her hair done, and they bring them out to this cafeteria. I've been pleased with them. It doesn't have that smell like a lot of nursing homes do. The administrators always get in contact with me on any little issues. They always keep me updated without me having to ask.

My relative has moved into Pleasant Meadows Senior Living. There are lots of activities and great interaction. We have not had any problems. We're very happy with the place. She's in the regular nursing home part. The staff is really friendly and helpful. We've never had an issue with anybody. It's not like a nursing home atmosphere. It seems really homey and clean. Most nursing homes don't have the activities that they have here. They have different events every day, and sometimes multiple a day. They have family events. It's just far better than what we thought it would be. They have crafts, bingo, church service, and Bible study every week. They have people come in and sing. Different people volunteer their time and do that. There are just so many things that go on, but a lot of crafty type things.
