"My father was in Karcher Estates for rehab, but because of Covid, I never got inside. We just talked to him through the window. He was happier there than at the other rehab he went to. I have no complaints whatsoever. They helped us afterwards with doctor appointments and physical therapists. They did all the footwork for me. They were doing a good job of what they're trained to do. He did not have any complaints about the food. One time we visited, they had a clown that came through and gave people little root beer floats, but they made it fun. He's in the rehab side, and it's all connected. They have the whole thing, memory care, rehab, and senior living. They have it all together."

"I'm most impressed with the park like atmosphere around the nursing home. The administrator treats the residents like they were his own family. There is a lot of space in the therapy room to work on rehabilitation. Top notch care environment. "

"All facilities are judged by the level of care and "caring" they offer to their clients, and based on that, Meadow View Skilled Nursing and Rehab has to be one of the very best facilities of its kind in the State of Idaho. I arrived there to accomplish recuperation and physical therapy after a bout with Pancreatitis, complicated by both a UTI and e-coli that had previously hospitalized me for 5-days. As part of my physical therapy, they discovered elements that stemmed from a car accident that had been overlooked for 7-years by doctors, chiropractors, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other physical therapists. Obviously, that speaks highly of the level of expertise of the therapy staff at Meadow View, however it's the entire staff that makes this facility an exemplary facility. I've never before seen the level of accountability each team member holds themselves to in any business, and they go about it naturally and with what I call "casual professionalism." From the janitorial service team members to the engineering staff to the CNA's, nurses, and doctors right up to the administrators, each and every person gives you the impression that they have been waiting all day for the opportunity to take care of you and your needs."

"Wellspring Health and Rehabilitation of Cascadia was good. I would rate them excellent, but they lack a little bit on personal attention. The food smelled and looked really good, and my mom said it tasted home-cooked. The activities were OK, but you have to be able to make it through the activities, and if youre not able to get there on your own, its difficult to do anything. I think the community is pretty good for bed-ridden people, but I wouldnt put someone in there who wanted to be involved in activities and social things. My mom was in assisted living and I didnt feel like they gave her enough attention, although the staff was good. The cost is really high for the value."

"I had a grandmother that was at Cascadia of Nampa on a Medicare stay. The staff was very kind and caring. Food was good for a nursing home. Therapy department was above par. They worked hard to get my grandmother out in the limited time molina was willing to cover her. Cascadia of Nampa was very clean and without bad smell. The room was clean and well put together as grandma arrived in the facility. Anita enjoyed working with the activity department with coloring, diamond art, bingo and card games. One night they even had a large movie projector, and popcorn. Admin staff are knowledge in their career field. They went above and beyond to work with insurance to help my grandmother have a few extra days of rehab. I am grateful for the care provided to Anita and will be a return customer if the needs arises. Thank you Cascadia of Nampa."

"My mom went to Creekside Transitional Care & Rehabilitation for rehab. The staff there was just amazing. They all communicated and stayed in touch with the family on a pretty much daily basis. When we have any questions they're prompt to answer, and if they don't, they find somebody who knows the answer. They treated my mom with dignity and respect. I would recommend it to anybody because it's just a wonderful place. We were able to have meals with my mom and it didn't cost us anything. That was really nice. At the hospital, we had to pay for our meals, but at Creekside, they offered us meals to have with her. The food was really good too. They had a wonderful layout for physical therapy rooms with multiple options to work with depending on the patient and what their needs are. They have everything in there to meet multiple needs. They have a transitional part, which is where my mom was, and then they had the long-term care as well. What I saw in the long-term care part was that the staff was really prompt with them also, and they do have different activities for them to do throughout the day. They keep those posted, on what's available to do, and they have a chart on the wall that tells you your choices of meals. It was really nice for the long-term and for the transitional. We were fortunate."

"I stayed in Meridian Meadows Transitional Care for rehab. They helped with physical therapy. They also take care of your meals, showers, and all that. They're all really nice and were very helpful. The food, they call it a renal diet: no salt, no nothing, pretty bland. The food was nothing to be excited about. It's a fairly new building, and the rooms were nice. It's just that out the window was an alley, so you'd get a lot of cars going up and down the alley all night. And, the facility was very clean."

"Aspen Transitional Rehabilitation did a wonderful job. I would rate them very highly as a skilled nursing facility. My mother was there after she broke her hip and arm, and they did a very good job with her. Unfortunately, because of COVID, she was kind of locked down, but they really kept on top of things. They did an excellent rehab job. The therapy was the best. The building was very good. It looked clean and kept up. The only problem that we had was that she was in isolation, so she couldn't have visitors for a while, and she was in a private room, so she was a little bored. Other than that, she was kept very safe and clean, and they really concentrated on her nutrition. She really liked the rehab that they did with her. Rehab was hard, but they did a very good job. The activities were limited at that time because of COVID. Some of the staff had COVID and they were restricting people into their rooms."

"I like it here! They listen to anything we have to talk about. Also if they they think the suggestions we make are feasible they're willing to try them. Someone, anyone is always available to talk to us, dietitian, administrator, anyone. I just haven't spoken to the owner. I met him once and he was up at the store and he started a conversation, very friendly. (I wish I could give more than 5 stars because they deserve 12)"

"During the 2 yrs. I had family members at Cherry Ridge I found the staff to be both professional and genuinely caring. They listened to any questions or concerns and, when necessary, responded in a timely manner.. They treated my parents with respect and patience. For a number of the staff this was not just an 8 to 5 job & a paycheck it was a dedicated & personal commitment to help the residents live their llives, while at Cherry Ridge, with dignity and as pain free as posssible. I consider both my parents and myself extremely lucky to have found Cherry Ridge. "

"My husband was in Life Care Center of Treasure Valley. They were excellent -- top-notch. I would bring them home to New Jersey if I could. The caretakers that they employ were all caring, lovely people. They had an excellent system. Everything was done well and in order. The place was clean, bright, and open. They had nice activities. I can't say anything but wonderful things about them. "

"Apex Center is very nice. They had an immediate opening for my dad and they took his health care at the time so it was quite easy to get there. They seemed to have gone through a couple of changes of employees. The staff right now is really nice; they seem to care for my dad as well. He seems to like the food a lot. He’s in a room by himself. It has a bed, a chair, a chest of drawers, and his own bathroom. "

"My mom is still in a rehab facility right now because she broke her hip. She is at Arbor Valley of Cascadia. It is adequate; it is okay. The room is okay. However, when I went outside to give my mom some outside time on the patio, it was not good. The grass was overgrown with weeds. The patio area wasn't kept up very well. The staff is good. They're nice. My mom is incapacitated. She's there for rehab on her legs so she doesn't participate in any of the activities. And she's got memory issues, so she can't do activities. She does physical therapy, and it's very good. They're helping her a lot. They also do occupational therapy. However, the food isn't very good. It's kind of plain and not that tasty."

"We chose Life Care Center of Valley View for my mother-in-law because it has a high rating, everything sounded good when we talked to them, and it is close to where we live. They have different things going on like bingo, some entertainment every now and then, and movies that they can watch. The staff seems very good. "

"About 6 months ago I taught a middle school leadership class. I had the child write cards and pick flowers to bring the residents of the Life Care Center of Boise. When we arrived the facility appeared top-notch. The Children were nervous at first but once they started talking to the amazing residents they really started having a great time. A few of the residents started crying because they were so happy to have a visitor and someone to talk to. All in all it was an amazing experience for the students, the residents, and me as well. I absolutely recommend the Life Care Center of Boise, to care for your loved ones. "

"If I could give a ZERO STAR for care I would. The staff is friendly and try to be helpful. But they are only "Johnny on the Spot" when you alert them about something, otherwise you find you loved one sitting in urine soaked clothes and no clean clothes available because it takes days for laundry to return clothing. Also, when you tell them something, they always state they will do it or look into it. YEP...never gets done. Ask...ASK...ASK...MEETING...DEMAND....PLEAD...NOTHING. LOTS of MONEY...for WHAT!?! AND NOW THEY ARE UNDER CONSTRUCTION - POUNDING, HAMMERING, MOVING RESIDENTS FROM ROOM TO ROOM ...HALL TO HALL. VERY BAD FOR PATIENTS THAT ARE ELDERLY OR HAVE DEMENTIA. Or anyone for that matter."

"My dad was at Id Elks for his rehabilitation. He had three hours of therapy per day. An hour each for occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech therapy. It was the minimum but would also depend on how much help they needed. Nursing care was very good. When the call light was pressed, they usually arrived in five minutes. They were also very sensitive to comments from the family members, they really acted upon our observations with my father's condition. We watched them work out dad in the gym and we really saw the improvements. "

"The Idaho state Veterans Home is moderately acceptable. Some levels are warm and home like. There is a barber that comes once a week to cut hair which the Veterans love. They also have craft kits and fun volunteers and very happy volunteers. There are other levels which are dank and scary and the underpaid staff are just kind of scared and do not smile at all. I had some of the food and it was pretty good. They have jello every day which tires both the residents and myself. I went to go visit my great uncle Pete at least once a week and he was always excited to see me. He had one nurse Monica who was so wonderful. She was always happy and relaxed and knew exactly what he wanted and how to make him happy and take care of him. Monica was really really excellent. When my uncle died she went to the funeral and sat with the family. "
