All facilities are judged by the level of care and "caring" they offer to their clients, and based on that, Meadow View Skilled Nursing and Rehab has to be one of the very best facilities of its kind in the State of Idaho. I arrived there to accomplish recuperation and physical therapy after a bout with Pancreatitis, complicated by both a UTI and e-coli that had previously hospitalized me for 5-days. As part of my physical therapy, they discovered elements that stemmed from a car accident that had been overlooked for 7-years by doctors, chiropractors, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other physical therapists. Obviously, that speaks highly of the level of expertise of the therapy staff at Meadow View, however it's the entire staff that makes this facility an exemplary facility. I've never before seen the level of accountability each team member holds themselves to in any business, and they go about it naturally and with what I call "casual professionalism." From the janitorial service team members to the engineering staff to the CNA's, nurses, and doctors right up to the administrators, each and every person gives you the impression that they have been waiting all day for the opportunity to take care of you and your needs.

Meadow View Nursing & Rehabilitation is the only rehab facility we've used and mom is getting excellent care. So far, they're on top of things. They make it a point she gets all of her therapy every day without a mess. They'll work around her, too. She's had doctor's appointments and they work around her doctor's appointments. The only problem they have is she's on a thick liquid diet and doing battle with the kitchen to get that diet to her. She uses a Ninja at home every day for all of her food, and they don't even have a Ninja in the kitchen. The staff is excellent. From the housekeeping people and up. The housekeeping will come in and they know her name and know her situation. They talk to her and chat with her. They just go out of their way to be friendly, considerate, and concerned. The rehab facility is only a year and a half old. The problem is you have to walk from the front door to the back of the building to get to the rehab center. They have all kinds of activities every day. Mom looks forward to every day going down and playing kickball with about 25 other patients. The other evening there was a group singing down in the cafeteria area. They also have a hairstylist and people who come in and do their nails. They have everything going on all the time.

I am currently at Meadow View Nursing and Rehabilitation. It's a very nice facility. The staff is excellent and the food is generally good. They have a beauty salon and the nurses were all wonderful. I've been telling people about it myself and I would recommend it.

My mother had to go through rehab at Meadow View to be able to walk again or do anything for herself again. She stayed there for 30 days. The facility itself was old and it needs to be remodeled. They didn't have automatic doors and the floors were really old. It has been there since 1978 and it was old then. The staff helped me get my mom back on her feet again to where she could go back to assisted living in a very short amount of time. They worked hard on her rehabilitation and they have very kind and caring staff. They had really good food and she enjoyed it. They had a good variety. They had ice cream socials. We paid a lot of money, but it was well worth it.

I'm in Meadow View Nursing and Rehabilitation. The rooms are fine. They have two people to a room. The staff is great. They help you with whatever you need and come when you call them. They need a new chef. I don't like the choices they make for their food. They should come up with new meal items. They have good therapists and have plenty of reading areas and activities all the time for us to get involved with.
