Westchester Village at Providence Place

I live in the independent living community of Westchester Village at Providence Place. It offered all the features and benefits that I needed. The things I like most are the ease of qualifying for the community and the activities and services they provide. Since it's continual care, you can go from independent living to assisted living to long-term care, and then right next door is hospice, if you need it. Right next to the hospice is also a funeral home, so you couldn't ask for a better arrangement. The facility is awesome, and the activities are bountiful. Everybody's first activity is bingo, but they also have exercises, worship services, and music. Those are just the highlights. One of the advantages is that this is located in a wonderful place in High Point, where everything you need is within a three-mile radius, whether it's food, restaurants, shopping, or medical needs, so it is definitely convenient.

I'm supposed to move into Providence Place Westchester Village. I like the general manager there. She was very energetic, and she's a pastor. I was very enthused about going because everybody was doing stuff. I could take my work with me because I work at home anyway, but if I don't, I think I'll have plenty to do there. The rooms were very large, and compared to everybody else, they were better priced. The room they showed me was beautiful. It had hardwood floors. The one I looked at has two bedrooms and a living room, which includes a room for a dining table. It had lots of closets and a kitchen with appliances. The staff I met were very friendly and upbeat. They were very good. They were super and very nice. The place was very clean, I was impressed.
