"My husband was going to The Memory Care Center from WellSpring Solutions. It was wonderful. My husband loved going there. They kept him busy all day. They did all kinds of things like exercise, arts and crafts, and just interactions with other people. So I'm kind of sad that there's not anything like that here in Morehead City. My husband had meals there every day. It's a nice big building with lots of room. It's nicely structured. They schedule every day, so they keep them busy and active doing things, and it was wonderful. They're wonderful. Every person that works there is just wonderful, and they're very good with the patients that have Alzheimer's and memory problems. They're just so patient and so loving. It's worth every penny that they would charge, but I had financial help as well. "

"My moms best friend was at Mt Zion Senior Life Enrichment Center up until the day she passed away. They took very good care of her the Director is a great lady who loves and care for the seniors, she just don't tell them she shows them how much she loves them. The staff is great and we love how the staff is a mix of young adult and older adults. The clients enjoy the bingo and the beautiful gifts that they win. The meals are healthy and delicious. I am glad that my mom friend got to live out her best days at a place that cares about the elderly and it genuine."

"I was able to enroll Mom at Elizabeth and Tab Williams Adult Day Center. She's there Monday through Friday. They're good. Her doctor recommended them and they were very helpful because I couldn't afford the services that they provide. They based her application on her income and not mine. The caseworker came out to my home, took a look, we talked, and she signed her up. The State of North Carolina is paying for her to go, which helped me out immensely. They provide breakfast, lunch, and snacks. They have activities in the center. They have a large room with side rooms and one room where the seniors can watch television. They have different activities in the different rooms. They keep them active; like they do laps around the room, which helps because it keeps her active."

"This facility is wonderful the staff are kind patient and understanding of both their participants and the needs of the family members who are privately caring for their loved ones. They offer kind support, they give information to outside sources that help one to be a better caregiver. They offer activities that are resident capability appropriate and allow some community volunteers to come inand share in the joy of providing a safe and active place for each person to be each day. They offer ongoing time swing whole families can come and be with the resident as an outside family. The only drawback is the schedule which fluctuates dependent on the school systems schedule and of course weather conditions making it not dependable if a person needed to work and had to report regularly to a fixed schedule.
