I was able to enroll Mom at Elizabeth and Tab Williams Adult Day Center. She's there Monday through Friday. They're good. Her doctor recommended them and they were very helpful because I couldn't afford the services that they provide. They based her application on her income and not mine. The caseworker came out to my home, took a look, we talked, and she signed her up. The State of North Carolina is paying for her to go, which helped me out immensely. They provide breakfast, lunch, and snacks. They have activities in the center. They have a large room with side rooms and one room where the seniors can watch television. They have different activities in the different rooms. They keep them active; like they do laps around the room, which helps because it keeps her active.

A wonderful caring place for my mom. Lovely staff and lots of fun for an 87 year old. So glad you exist.

All I can say is it's a wonderful place. My husband is 65 with FTD. I didn't think he would fit in or want to be there because most people are older. I was so wrong. They are very knowledgable of what needs to be done for my husband and understand him. The place and the people who work there get 5 stars from me. Can't say enough good things about them. I do not know where I would be today if I didn't have the Tab Williams Center to turn to for help. They also provide a caregiver support group that I attend. Sometimes I just need to talk to someone who understand the everyday life I'm dealing with now and there are people in the support group who understand.
