We toured Covenant Village. They have cottages. They have one-bedrooms and two-bedrooms. It's beautiful inside and outside. The grounds are gorgeous. They have Bible study there two or three times a week. They have trips. They have a lot of stuff that they offer. The only thing I didn't like about it was we were married for 60 years and I have collected a lot of stuff. He was in the military and civil service working for our military, and he has all kinds of awards in his office, and I'm not going to have room to take all the stuff that I've collected over 60 years, and that's my drawback. One of the managers showed us an apartment, a cafeteria, and different living rooms. They're a lot nicer than mine. They're very fancy. The staff answered all my questions and described everything in detail, what was available for me, and what wasn't. They even have a nurse on staff 24-hours a day. We went over there. He showed us an arts and crafts room. They have a sewing machine there. They play cards. They have different activities going on all the time.

Covenant Village offers both assisted living and independent living. They have cottages as well as apartments. The grounds were well taken care of. They also have a wellness center in there that has a full workout room. They also have a giant pool and they offer pool classes and aqua aerobics, and they have chair volleyball on Mondays. They have different types of activities and then they have a nice art room. Security was nice and the residents were always walking around the grounds. The groundskeeper had the place very well maintained. They had a buffet-style breakfast, lunch, and dinner in their dining facility. People have multiple options on what to eat, and the food tastes good. They still have servers there, but people can go to the buffet and choose what they want and how much they want to eat. The staff during the tour was a nice person and he's really intelligent and he knows the stuff about the place. It smells really clean in there. There was no weird smell there. The nurses are pretty on point and nice. There's always somebody on the desk and everybody seems pretty happy.
