VERY clean, pleasant staff. Small size ensures excellent care for residents.( 6 to 1) Did not see/learn if activities beyond tv viewing for residents are offered. Not quite the fit I am seeking for my husband but think it would be perfect for some. Open to visitors 9-9 ..and opportunity to sign residents out for hours or overnight.

Peninsula Family Care Home was not like a big facility. It is smaller which is a type of home that I'm interested in looking at now for mom. There's a kitchen with a table and a family room, which would be inviting for the group to hang out together. I liked that. They have kind of a family feel.

My father is in memory care at Peninsula Family Care Home, and it's very good. The rooms were very nice, furnished, and very clean. This is a small six-bed family home. It has a family room, a bedroom, a kitchen, and a breakfast area. The staff is very good. Because it's small with only six beds, it's very individualized type of care. There are no amenities. They have some activities that they try to do with the residents, such as playing some games or doing puzzles or something, but it's not like your typical assisted living that has 100 beds or so.
