Spring Creek Rehabilitation and Nursing Care Center

My father is at Spring Creek Rehabilitation and Nursing Care Center. He has been there for three weeks now. It's a nice place. The people are nice. But my father said the food was nasty. His room though is very spacious. I like the room. I like the openness of it. They have a very nice dining room for the patients. They have bingo every night. They have two separate lounge areas on each floor. If you want to go to a private area with your family, you can. They have an open area with sofas. It's very nice. I like it. The only thing I don't like is that they don't clean enough. Every time I go there, I have to clean the bathroom because they weren't on top of that. I always clean the bathroom. They should clean it more often because they have older people, and sometimes they pee on the floor, and the bathroom smells like pee when you go in. I had to clean my father's room when I first got there because whoever was supposed to prepare the room for him, didn't clean the dresser, and they didn't clean the closet. Everything was filthy. I had to get stuff from the nurses and clean it myself. That's my only complaint.

The quality of the physical and occupational therapy was very good, and the staff are pleasant, however, you will get better food in a prison and the owners and management of Spring Creek allow patients to play their TV's at ear-splitting levels all night long causing sadistic torture, sleep deprivation and extreme forms of dehumanization to other patients who can't stand the noise. And no amount of begging will help or even complaints to the Ombudsman.

My sister, Marilyn was admitted to Spring Creek Rehab after suffering a stroke in June 2016. They have an elaborate rehab system and the staff is caring and professional. After a few months of therapy Marilyn is doing very well. Thank you to the staff at Spring Creek Rehab and Nursing.
