"Sunnyside Manor, to me, is a top community. It’s a very new place with beautiful rooms. The whole community is very bright and cheerful. It was an excellent visit. "

"Wellington Estates at Spring Lake was a nice place. They have the same accommodations basically as the other facility. Their grounds were very nice. It was an older place, and they had carpeting instead of hard floors. I think the hard floors are probably a little cleaner. They make all their own bread, pastries, and things. So they probably have a very good chef there, as far as the food goes. They were very good. The woman who owns it and runs it is a very nice girl. One of the reasons we chose not to go there was because I was concerned that if something happens to her health-wise, I'm not sure who's going to be running the place. So I was concerned about the ongoing business there. In Wellington, they have assisted living, they also have memory, and that's as far as they go. They don't have nursing per se if you were hospice. They've got doctors on call, but they don't have residents. The staff members were friendly, seemed capable, and clean. I think that they could do a little better, but it didn't seem like it was dirty."

"Millennium Memory Care - Ocean was a small place. Most of the rooms were full and the one room that was offered didn't have a bathroom in it, so you had to go out to the hallway to use the bathroom. It's almost a home that's converted. They had some rooms with bathrooms and others that didn't have bathrooms. The person during the tour was really sweet and got along very well with the residents. She interacted very well with them. The place was very clean. She has had people out in the main room and they were doing things. She's very accommodating."

"We toured The Villas and the place was gorgeous, it's beautiful. They only had one available apartment and it was very tiny, that's the reason we didn't go with them. The staff who gave the tour was wonderful, she was very nice and took us to look at a couple of different apartments. One of the ones she showed us wasn't available, so I didn't understand why she showed it to us because we weren't going to be able to rent it anyway. Everything there was immaculate, but it wasn't going to fit our needs. One of the things we were impressed with is that they have an on-site clinic, and a doctor comes in. That would have been ideal, and that was one thing that I liked. They provided meals, they had a library, a gym, and a pool."

"Mom is here and the facility is great. She loves it. Her room is nice and loves her room. Everybody in the family is happy with her being there. The people there are phenomenal and they were really nice. We have no complaints at all about the facility. It's very, very nice place."

"It was right in the center of everything. The location was very good. They were very nice and very accommodating. Again, it had three meals, and it was more than I needed. I just put myself down and said, "Okay, that one I had to pursue, if and when I needed it, because the driving and the location was so good." They were very nice."

"We chose Millennium Memory Care for my aunt because there were only fifteen people there, and it's like a house type of environment with five staff members, so it wasn't like a big institution. There's a lot of sunlight and it's only for people with Alzheimer's. We haven't got the chance to go inside because of the COVID, but as far as the attentiveness and calling us back, it's been good. They have a program now where she's having help with her swallowing, they got her a better wheelchair, they're gonna have somebody come in for four hours a day, and she sees a doctor once a week. She's getting much better care than what we can give her at home. I also like the staff. The facility looks like a home that's built in the neighborhood because in Holmdel, all the houses are big, and this looks like it fits into the neighborhood. It's a bit expensive, but I feel like we're getting what we paid for."

"We toured Holly House Senior Residence for my sister. It was clean. Everyone was friendly and informative. The staff were helpful and friendly. The place could use some updating, but it was clean. It is a nice neighborhood. The rooms that we were able to see looked adequate."

"My relative just moved in recently and I must say we are happy thus far... The place is immaculate. the community is very clean and the staff is on top of things. Every resident has their own rooms which is a plus.. When I was there a week or so they were all doing zumba which was cool. Everytime I come to visit they are either doing some type of activity either bowling, sing along or ball toss. I am very happy with the care he is receiving... Shontay is polite and so is the staff. If you want a homely feel this is the place to be... Its is not like other facilities its their home"

"Rose Hill was spotless, they had a little chapel, and you can practice whatever religion you have there. They had a big recreation area, it's very clean, and it seemed very nice. Each bedroom had its own kitchenette. If you wanted to cook, microwave, or wash something, you could. You can make your own coffee. Everybody was nice, and I didn't have any problem with them. "

"I toured Mira Vie at Forsgate, and it was very nice. The director was very approachable, answered all my questions, and gave us a thorough tour. They have a patio, and it's in a kind of forest setting."

"My mother has moved into The Landing of Hamilton. We chose it because it was new, very clean, and looked like a hotel. The rooms were very nice. The studios were nice. They have full-size refrigerators. The bathrooms were large. She's in memory care now. She started in assisted living. The staff is very caring. They've had parties and I've tried the food, and it's been fine, but I've heard some complaints from the residents there that they don't like some of the food. They have an exercise room. They bring in exercise instructors to work with them. They have activity rooms where they play bingo and do drawings and crafts and all that stuff. Their price is equal to other places. They're not astronomically high and they're not low either. They're just in between. I've been to a few other places and a few places are more expensive and a few places are less expensive, but the less expensive ones aren't as nice. I chose The Landing because it was a nicer place."
