"Seabrook was almost like a city. ItÕs very big and there are hundreds of people all over. ItÕs a great facility but it was too big; you had to take a bus to go from one end to another. The apartments are beautiful and they have a lot of things going there too. "

"I was not so impressed with the apartments at Applewood Estates. They had an indoor pool, exercise rooms, meeting rooms, an auditorium, and everything that most places have. It was spotless. They had a restaurant and a bistro; the food was excellent. The apartments were OK but not to my liking. I didn’t care for the living quarters. "

"After back surgery I did 14 days of rehab at Harrogate. The staff there was wonderful they treated me like family. The Administrators, Nurses ,Therapist, Housekeeper’s and Aids were all a factor in me getting back on my feet again. The food was excellent hats off to the kitchen staff. Thank You All"

"My parents are at Silverwoods Adult Living and everything has been great. Everyone's been nice, very caring, great, wonderful, and they seemed to care about their residents. During COVID, there's really not any activities going on right now, and I am hoping things will pick up once it's gone. The food could be better though. To me, all of these facilities are expensive, but I think Silverwoods Adult Living is on the lower end."

"My room is bug infested. I've reported the problem but nothing has been done. I push the button for help and have had to wait anywhere from 1 to 6 hours for someone to see what the problem is. Every morning I ask the nurse for my pain medication and 1 nurse tells me she'll check then walks away. She usually comes back between 2 to 3 hours later. Since I've been transferred to this section I have not had any type of exercise or physical therapy. I have not been out of this bed once. The food is horrible. I would not recommend this place to anyone, not even my worse enemy!"

"I like The Pines. It's very nice. I have friends who live there, both in independent and in the nursing home, and it's fine. The people I know who live there like it. The sanitation seems to be fine to me. I live in the area. They have a lot of activities. I know my friend who lives there does a lot; she keeps very busy. I went there a couple of times for picnics. It's a good place to be if you can afford it. "

"My mom was a resident of Downtown Brooklyn Nursing and Rehabilitation. It was clean. They're very attentive. The exercise rehab has made her stronger. So she was able to recover faster by walking around and getting stronger and I was very satisfied with that. I think the main activity is just to get the person more mobile, to get them to walk around more, and get them stronger. The staff is very professional and attentive because they're always checking in and making sure everything is okay. The only negative was the food. The food was not good. Somebody did a survey for them. I told them that they needed to change the caterer for the place, or whatever that food has to change."
