My husband is at Heritage Pointe. They have been very understanding and helped me get the insurance for long-term care that we have. They have been very accommodating in terms of making my husband happy. So far everyone has been very helpful, and people have been very pleasant. I can't imagine trying to run any place with COVID going on. They have already gotten COVID shots there, and that is a big relief. His room is lovely. He was able to have his cat. There is a window that looks out on the little courtyard. The cat loves that; he can sit there and look out. He has a bedroom and a very nice, good-sized bathroom. It has very easy elevator access. He has Alzheimer's so there will be issues but so far, they have all been very sweet and accommodating to him when he gets crabby. It is assisted living now, but it has the transition available when that becomes the next step, and that was another reason to choose them. They have activities but he is not interested; he is not a joiner. There were some activities that were posted, but I did not keep that piece of information. When they said it, I was trying to visit with Dave and told him that maybe he should try to go and meet with people, and his comment was that there were a couple of other residents who have been very friendly and again with COVID what a trick that is. He fell and passed out due to a urinary infection, so I did not like him going back to independent living. I figured that he is going to be difficult again about going to independent living, and once he gets back it is going to be harder again, so I did not want him to go from the hospital back to the other building. They had a place where we could get him in. The hospital called one day and said, "We are sending him home this afternoon," and by the next day they were able to help us line things up. That was such a good thing that we felt that they have been extremely helpful with my questions about different things. The parking to get into the building is ideal. You don't have a long way to go. It is not busy; you don't get that impression of a busy street, but it is handy to get right where you need to be going. They have been very good about keeping the residents safe. They have it lined up for you to make a reservation to come and stay there. At this point I have been very happy. The people seemed to be very caring, and they are so good with taking care of his medicine, which is another issue. It is such a relief to me to say, "Oh good, someone else is dealing with that." They don't remind him take the medicine, the nurses come, and he has the shots, and it is such a relief that way for the family. Everything I have seen is clean and easy access. We are lucky enough that we got long-term care insurance, and again, the staff has been so helpful in getting that taken care of.

I toured Heritage Pointe. It was very clean and very bright. All the employees there spoke to me as we went through. The room sizes were good. They have a refrigerator and a microwave. The person who took me around was very pleasant and knowledgeable. They have a large courtyard. They served three meals a day.

We visited Heritage Point memory care. It was laid out pretty nicely, it's a nice community. It wasn't quite as active as I'd like it to be, but the residents were happy. We were there at mealtimes and the meals were pretty good too. They have a pretty good program of places to go and things to do, including those across the street. They participate in activities with assisted living, so I like that. They have an activities room, they do activities in other places too, and they have their eating facilities. They also have a place to walk outside that was gated. It's locked so the residents couldn't leave the area.

I had a chance to do two tours at Heritage Pointe, and they were impressive. The staff is extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The facility is well-kept, it looks like it's well-run. It's a place that I could see myself wanting to live one day, so that was a good sign. Their amenities include an impresive coffee bar and library, a lovely dining room, and a movie room. There's a courtyard and sidewalk for walks and socializing, it was a really lovely setting. The rooms that I saw looked move-in ready and clean. They have many scheduled activities, and there are calendars available. They pride themselves and work hard to please the residents with activities planned around the residents' specific interests and hobbies.

I toured Heritage Pointe and I was pretty impressed with them. They were my second choice. It was a very nice facility. The staff was very nice, very thoughtful. The rooms were very nice. They didn't have a very good view, you kind of looked out over the courtyard, and I didn't particularly care for that. It's a nice neighborhood, and it's a beautiful facility. The person that gave the tour was very nice and it looked like a really nice, well-kept facility, so that was mainly what impressed me. They have transportation, activities, and meals. Their location was on a busier street. It wasn't as quiet as the other place I went to.

Heritage Pointe was great, we loved it. However, the staff member who was responsible for getting information was so pushy. It was not a good experience dealing with her and she kept asking for money for a deposit. The community was excellent and the rooms were very nice. The dining area was very nice too. We were interested in this community, but I could not deal with that one staff member. She was awful. They have a salon and a workout room.

Heritage Pointe was a very nice place with great activities and great people. When we went there, the people who lived there seemed to be happy and having fun. The staff was very accommodating. They had a big, common dining room. It was set up in a big circle. It was nice, and everybody seemed to be having a good time.

My mother used to be at Heritage Pointe when she was in assisted living. They have assisted living, and they have memory care, but they don't have nursing care. I would say Heritage would just be right up there with the best. It's a beautiful facility, and the staff was very helpful, very nice. They had bingo, and a musician would come in periodically, and a performer tells stories. They would offer outings occasionally. People could climb into their van and go to a restaurant. Everybody who wants to sign up for that could go because I think they pay for their own meals but they do have transportation. They also offer wheelchair van service or automobiles to their medical appointments. I would recommend Heritage Pointe. I know some jewelry was stolen from my mother's room. There is a problem there, and I know that it did happen to somebody else prior to my mother. I think they're fine, but they should know that.

My friend's mom was put in this facility because she has Alzheimers. He was extremely upset that she had to go there but he knew it was necessary. We went together to visit her. She loves this facility and it is extremely nice. Outside there is a big waterfall that runs over big boulders. It is a beautiful view. The nurses and staff are very friendly. They make his mom feel at home and at ease. The front entryway is very nice and the whole facility is very clean. The hallway was filled with older folks sitting and talking and they all seemed to be in high spirits. Her room was very spacious and super clean. I was very impressed with how nice this place was. My friend felt a lot better after we were there visiting with her for a while and could tell how much she liked it there. I would feel good sending a family member here because it is very clean and the people are nice.

I have visited my aunt at this facility 4 times over the past few years and stayed there for 3 days at a time. The facility itself is always sparkling clean and the staff are cheerful, optimistic and upbeat. The kitchen staff have always impressed me with the concern they've shown to my aunt and her special dietary needs. This facility also offers the residents games and entertainment such as bringing in local musicians. I think they've gone above and beyond in the level of care provided to my aunt and making sure when she needs more medical attention, that she is taken to the hospital and family members in the area are contacted immediately. This happened just 2 weeks ago when my aunt was having breathing trouble due to COPD. The staff did everything they were able to do including increasing her oxygen intake and when the results of that were not sufficient, they called for an ambulance and reached out to my cousin to make her aware of the problem. Thanks to the quick and decisive actions of the staff there, my aunt was able to recover and continues to enjoy her stay at Heritage Pointe.
