Heritage at Sterling Ridge was fine, but the apartments were smaller, and the ceilings were lower. They have a very impressive entrance, and they have a lot of things going for them. They have all kinds of things, i.e., an activity room, a salon, a library, and a movie room. They have transportation, they have activities, and they have people who come in, and sing and dance, which is great. Heritage at Sterling Ridge is fine for what it was. I didn't have any problems with it, but it was not appealing. I have a friend who was perfectly happy there. The staff was good and friendly. The building is a five, but the individual apartments were small.

My overall impression of Heritage at Sterling Ridge was good and what I expected. The main reason we picked it was because they have independent living, assisted living and dementia care, and in the independent living, they have two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartments, and they have underground parking. They have a community room they use for events. We like the fact that we could pick which two meals we wanted per day. You can take breakfast and lunch or lunch and dinner or breakfast and dinner. They have a shuttle bus that goes to different local stores and the shuttle will also take you to a Catholic service on Sunday mornings and that was important for us. We had lunch there, and the food was good, but service was a little slow. My mother-in-law liked its physical location, and they had a more flexible meal plan.

I visited and selected The Heritage at Sterling Ridge because it was brand new and it was less than 3 miles from my home. The staff was excellent. The food was restaurant quality, and it was very good.
