My parents moved to the Royal Atrium Inn. They were all very friendly, it was very clean, and it didn't smell. They all have a chef, and they have all different foods, and all these fancy meals. My mom and dad love it. Sarah and Sue are helpful and friendly. Their unit is a room, but it has a bay window and a large bathroom. My mom uses a walker, so she can get into the bathroom. It's spacious enough, and so is the room. They've done bingo, exercise class, and some arts and crafts. The value of the money was another thing that was appealing because it is such a nice place, and it was one of the cheaper ones than the other places I had just called, so more for your money.

Royal Atrium Inn is wonderful. They're very engaged and very friendly. All of the staff interacts with you when you're there. I see them interacting with other residents, too, and the care has been good. It's clean and it's been a great experience so far working with them. My dad's room is wonderful. He has a nice window with a lot of sunshine. It's very clean and it's a good size. We were able to set it up, so it's very comfortable for him. The bathroom facility has a walk-in shower so we don't have to worry about him getting into it. He loves the food. He said it has been very good. He does the exercise classes, but there are also other things available. They have a chapel, they go on outings, he has access to the outside, they have nurses on site, and there are people that come in to do haircuts.

I am a hyperactive 81 year old man. I crave lots of activities. The professional staff offer a ton of heathy and fun activities. For both the mind and body. They work as a team. If one person can’t help you they will find someone who can. I particularly enjoy the morning sit and stretch. And the mind games that follow are a real variety from horse racing to memory challenges.

I am a resident of Royal Atrium Inn. It is very nice. I'm very happy here. The atmosphere and the people working here are wonderful. They are very good. I have a lovely room; it's very nice. I have a living room and a bedroom. I'm on a special diet, so the person in charge of the kitchen has been very helpful. They have the usual activities and different things every day. If you want to do anything, there's something to do. There is the outdoor stage, which is a lovely space, and a pool. The atmosphere all year is beautiful. The staff right now is shorthanded like every other place. But the staff that are here are very, very good.

My parents have been at RPP for 4 1/2 years. During this time, my mother passed away from complications due to Parkinson's disease. I have found RPP to be a caring, friendly community with compassionate and empathetic leadership. The restrictions related to COVID-19 have kept the cases there at a commendable level. The open, honest communications go out regularly to residents and their families. They are informative with a touch of humor. I recommend RPP without reservations for your loved one!

Mother loved living at the Atrium and very much appreciated the fine staff available to help each of the residents that live there. They were all so caring and dedicated to their work with the residents. Most importantly they conveyed strong Christian values as they went about their daily service. We are grateful that Mom was able to live her final days in happiness, because of the loving kindness staff exhibited in their interactions with her. God bless each of them. With much love and grateful hearts, George and B Jacob

The Royal Park Atrium Inn, Zeeland, MI is a great place for your loved one. Spacious apartments, many activities, outings, delicious food, beautiful landscaping, most importantly, caring and gracious staff. The care and interest in the resident, doesn't stop with the admission process. They residents are part of a community from the activities, to gathering with others in common areas. Assisted living at the Royal Park Atrium Inn provides the fullness of life and the care both the senior and their family is looking for.

We liked Royal Park Place. We had a relative that was there before so we knew the facility. My parents were very comfortable there; again it’s very nice. The unit that they showed us was owned by a family. It was a lot smaller than the other place we went to. I think what we didn’t like about it is because it was family-owned, it was only a six months lease, and it was a very small two-bedroom. It really shouldn’t have been listed as a two-bedroom because one room actually didn’t have a door on it. It was more like a den. The grounds were beautiful, and they have water activities. The food was good, and the neighborhood was nice.

Hi, Deb. Thank you for visiting Royal Park Place; I am glad you liked what you saw. I’m sure your parents would enjoy living here.
I’m sorry we were not able to find an apartment that met their needs. Unfortunately our apartments, especially the two-bedroom apartments, are in high demand. The apartment you were shown was recently purchased, but not scheduled for occupancy for 6-9 months, thus the unusually short six-month opportunity. Initial one-year, two-year, and three-year leases are the norm for our community.
If your parents didn’t add their name to the waiting list and they are interested in coming to Royal Park Place, please feel free to contact Kim Douma. She would be happy to discuss exactly what they are looking for and add them to the list.
Thanks, Jeff Zylstra, Community manager

The staff was very nice. Their apartments were spacious and appropriate for the meetings. They were in the middle of remodelling their dining room to make it more conducive for the residents. The food was very good. They had a lot of activities. They had a bus that took residents around if they wanted to get out from the facility. They had games and social events. They had a beatiful atrium with live birds.

We went to visit the Royal Atrium Inn assisted living facility since we were already in the region, looking at places for my friend's mother to live. The outside grounds were colorful and vibrant with nice trees and ponds for the residents to enjoy. There was a nice stone waterfall that was very soothing, on the property. The exotic plants were extraordinary. The foliage continued around the perimeter of the buildings. The interior foyer had a breathtakingly beautiful atrium, as nice any indoor garden we've seen. The adjacent indoor seating area gave the feeling of being outside, yet it was indoors. The private and semi-private housing options were all lovely and looked like they had been personalized. We were told that a decorator works with staff and residents to update them regularly to keep them fresh. The facility offers plenty of amenities "“ like social enrichment activities with the community. The restaurant style dining area offers many delicious choices. The lunch we saw was like what could be found in an upscale diner. We could see that my friend's mother would appreciate their menu options. They also had a private dining room for friends and family to enjoy. The staff takes residents on weekly outings for shopping and entertainment. The exercise area has a really pretty outdoor walking path. They also have a newsletter and a regularly accessible calendar. This is a full service assisted living facility that offers residents flexibility and comfort. The staff is respectively and professional - yet kind and caring.
