The rooms are pretty spacious. The staff members were all friendly and helpful. There were many different activities that the residents could do from games to live music.

Takes an Exceptionally long time for caregivers to respond to lights. Doesn’t seem to have enough help. When they come they are very caring.

Bare, cold, zero amenities, no phones hooked up in short-term rehab rooms, very slow responses for call lights. All seen this past week. Is this even an appropriate place to send rehab patients? Overall a lack of communication between administrative staff and nursing staff resulting.

The staff at Hoyt in Saginaw was just wonderful in helping with my mom's care. The place was clean and the staff attentive. Kudos to the wonderful doctors and nurses for outstanding care. But who truly went above and beyond is the social Worker - Jen - who took the time to answer my endless questions and arranged all of her discharge care. She helped us in so many ways, she made the whole process go so smoothly. She is truly compassionate about the people she helps, keeping everyone informed, she is never to busy to answer your questions.

My mom was at Hoyt Nursing & Rehab Centre. They were much more attentive to her needs than the other facility. They were very compassionate and friendly. I was able to call and actually make an appointment to go visit, and actually get in to see her, and people would return my calls and inform me of her condition, and what was going on with her, and they were very friendly about it. I was happy, and so was my mom.

My friend is in Hoyt. Everything was bright and shiny. The staff was very gentle with her. The bathroom was clean, and if the bathroom is clean it's fine. There were different levels of care. We had lunch there, and the food was good. The desserts were homemade, and they would bring a plate to the table with several choices on it. They had diabetic choices, too. The dining area was like being in a restaurant.
