My stepdad was in at this facility for several months. He had PT and OT. The staff was very attentive he was clean showered and facility was clean. The staff always communicated with me. I would stop in and see him having fun playing cards with other residents. The director spoke to me to make sure my dads needs were met for discharge. I recommend this facility.

The rooms need a makeover, needs more cleaning under the pt beds. The food was ok at times, but when they dish the food out on the plates the juices from the food run into each other. The food is most of the time cold or luck warm. Some to half of the staff really cares for the residence. They can put on their call lights, and it can be over an hour or more before an aid gets to help them. They have no of site actives.

My husband was a previous resident of Faith Haven Senior Care Centre. He went there for rehab. But he started showing signs of a heart attack, and they thought he was fine. My husband said, "I want to go to the E.R." And the nurse said to me, "Well, do you want him to go?" And I said, "If he wants to go to the E.R., take him. And we found out then that he was having a heart attack. And the nurse should have recognized it. His oxygen level was low. He was sweating profusely, and they were saying, he was fine. So, I wouldn't send him back there. The place was all right. It's like any other nursing home. We've been to three, and it's like any other one. The staff were young people. My husband was in a shared room. They have activities for the residents, but he did not participate. Therapy was okay. My interaction with other staff was fair.

I had a relative who was at Faith Haven Senior Care before. I thought it was kind of run-down. It was like a room with two beds. One was crammed against a window and the other was crammed against a wall. The nightstands didn't match. I asked her about it and she didn't mind really, because they were very nice to her. She had good care. They were just very kind to her.

My mom was in Faith Haven Senior Care Center. The people were very helpful and she enjoyed being there. Her room was nice and clean, she liked the food, and she liked the activities. I was only allowed to visit once due to the COVID, most of the other visits were all window visits. The place was nice and neat and clean. The aides that I had talked to were very helpful and very knowledgeable with what they were doing. The administration lady was really nice on the phone any time I talked to her. I don't personally have any complaints because I didn't see anything wrong. They always answered all my questions, they were very good with call back information, and they reported if there was anything out of line. The communication was open and it was very good. She said the food was good and she had no complaints. They have a nice activity room or a multipurpose room. They played bingo, made jewelry and bracelets, and I thought that was very nice. In fact, she's still got the bracelets on her arm. It was all covered by insurance, so I guess we got what we paid for.

My mom was in Faith Haven. My mom would have accidents just because she couldn't move quick enough to get to the bathroom. They only had one bathroom in each wing for everybody to share. The physical therapy was horrible. She went there to build up her strength and when she left to come home her strength still wasn't there. When we were getting her transfered to the car she was trying to stand on her legs and they were doing nothing but shaking. It was not a good experience. My mom was in there for rehab. I didn't get to see much of the room because she is in Michigan and all you can do is visit through the window right now. Looking through the window her room was a nice size room. It was clean from what I could tell. I wasn't able to taste the food. My mom has gastroparesis so she couldn't eat very well, but she said the food was really good. She had no complaints about the food. I didn't see much of the living atmosphere. All I could really see was the lobby when I dropped her stuff off there. I didn't have much interaction with the staff either, but they weren't good about returning phone calls. They're not using the dining area right now so everyone eats in their bedrooms. They're not doing anything there right now and there are no inside visits. There's no activities going on for the residents there because of COVID.

When entering a step up facility the patient should have a advocate with them. This facility took me to a room and then did not show me which of the two open beds out of four I was to use. Meals were not explained. I was visited by the occupational, speach, and exersize, therapists they were all very nice. About a half an hour later of waiting for a tour or introduction I heard a lady calling for help. She called out three times so I went to see if I could assist her. She was 3/4 of the way off her bed and stated she did not know where she was. I lifted her back on the bed and went to get an Aid. The Aid was kind of flippant and said that was ""Rose", and she does that all the time. The lady Judy who entered the room told me I chose the right bed. She tried to explain meals to me then requested help to get into her bed. An Aid told her she had to wait as they still had trays to do. Judy tried to explain she also needed to use the rest room quickly. So another Aid came in and they discussed how to handle the situation. The first Aid to Judy to the toilet. From the gaseous spraying of diarrhea I suspect it was just a teensy bit late. Then one Aid told me I had to mark any time I went to the bathroom. There was no pen by the chart so I used my own. Later I was ostracized for marking the chart, which she then did wrong. First nights meal was Swedish meatballs without gravy and a miserable grade of meat. The side of sliced cooked zuccini was cold, bruised bottom of the barrel. The lemon and orange drink was watered down powder dink no real juice. I ordered a hotdog, chips and side salad for the next days dinner.. They brought me shepherds pie with sliced carrots. I have never seen this presentation of shepherds pie! The soup pre-dinner was served cold. When the Aid went to serve herself, she said out loud this is cold, then threw it away. Gee, maybe someone should have turned on the crock pot! The best part were the therapists. I would recommend bringing the patient in for their therapy and not paying $605.00 for poor care, horrid food and bad attitudes. Oh and I was tested for TB 30minutes before I left the third day! I thank god for my family and friends!

I visited Faith Haven. They were very helpful explaining the care residents receive in a nursing home versus assisted living. They were really friendly and knowledgeable. However, that was not the care we needed.

This is got to be the worst there is. They don't take care of their patients, food (what little bit you get) is no good, rarely get medicine on time. I definitely would not recommend this place.

This nursing home is one of the worst in the State of Michigan (1 out of 5 stars) and for very good reasons. My Uncle was patient there and was neglected. The patients just wander up and down the halls all day with nothing to do. This place is a real dump.
