Pleasant Manor is very nice and clean, and the employees are very nice. They provide very good service and they're all very nice. The food and dining area is all good. We play games like cards, dominoes and such, and watch television. I have a very nice one-bedroom apartment with adequate closet and dresser. Everything is good here, and the layout is very nice.

I didn't like Pleasant Manor AFC at all. It was not what we were looking for. The shared rooms were small. The clientele that was there was a little bit in worse condition than what my mom was. I just met one staff and she seemed pleasant enough. I didn't like the vibe from it. I didn't see any activities. They had sitting areas.

Our tour at Pleasant Manor AFC was fine. The accommodation was less than five-star though. It's a personal home that was renovated to accommodate this. It's aging and it needs maintenance. The person who is in charge of maintenance I don't think is putting enough money into the project to make it a nice place. There was paint on the ceiling flaking off, and there was tile in the bathroom that wasn't sealed up against the bathtub. The door they had going into the kitchen was not very secure. The manager there was fine. She was nice.

We have kept our cost down because we are not yet at the 5 star
Status but we are very close that’s why you could only find 3 minor items
