Fenno House

My sister is going into a studio in Fenno House. It provides all the services that she doesn't have right now. It's also located in an area where you can walk and go to shops. There's the South Shore, and there is the ocean that is not that far away. It has activities for the seniors. It serves two meals a day: lunch and dinner. They also provide different bus services for different things. So, it's so much more than what she has right now. The staff was very professional. They knew their business, and they were very helpful. They have been doing this for a long time. One nurse told us she had been there for 14 years, so that was very impressive for us to see that they don't have a lot of turnover. The place was completely renovated back in 2022, so it's very bright inside. The walls are a very pale blue. There's an elevator, and there's a storage room for each of their residents. There's a yard in the back. She can sit outside on her balcony and look down into the gardens and everything. So, it's a really nice place. It's everything she needs.

Fenno House is OK. The people were very nice. The rooms were nice. The building is a little bit old. There is some construction going on in front of the building. The staff who accommodated me was very friendly and answered questions. The rooms were okay. They were clean, but it's kind of old in there and it needs to be updated in my opinion. We saw the dining area and that was fine. The staff was very nice and very helpful.

There is nothing fancy about Fenno House. But the care that is giving to their residents is outstanding. CNA and nursing are very attentive and caring. Remodel being done at the present time, will give a much needed update. Rooms are very clean. Activities are inclusive for all who want to participate.
