My aunt and I visited Fox Chase Healthcare. They provide rehab and recovery, hospice services, nursing services, and long-term care. They had everything on one floor. They had a recreation room, and individual rooms for the patients there. They posted a big calendar with daily activities. They also had on-site medical services so doctors and nurses were there too. It looks like they probably could take acute care because they had a lot of hospital equipment there. It was more like a place for people who were sick and needed acute care or some kind of special care so it wasn't a good fit for my aunt. The staff was very nice, pleasant, and friendly. A gentleman showed us around who was very knowledgeable and knew a lot about the facility. I think they are limited in how many patients they could take.

In the beginning, my dad was referred to this facility via WHC for comfort care. I was skeptical of sending my dad to this facility because it was in Maryland and I live in DC. I just knew that in case of an emergency it would be difficult for me to get to him (I don’t drive). Moreover, I realized it wasn’t what I wanted, it’s about dad getting the proper treatment & quality care. Once my dad was placed there, I was amazed by the cleanliness of the facility, as well as the nurturing care from all staff. The politeness and their pleasantness was impeccable along with their work ethics; in which, was very keen. Overall, I am very pleased & satisfied with their care for my dad & others. I would highly recommend their services for anyone that meets their criteria. Thanks for their care & services.

I was very surprised at my last visit to this facility. Fox Chase is moving in the right direction and slowly becoming one of the best facility in Montgomery County. This facility is under new management call Peak. This facility now has a new administrator Latif this young man care so much about the residents, he listen to their concerns and act accordingly. The facility has a bunch of new staff members that seem to care about the residents so much, a new nursing manager Lynette she follows up on the needs of her resident. This young lady does not only love what she does but very passionate nurse that cares. GNAs like sharietta, Agnes in the mornings are so good with our loved ones, nurse Sowlan is such a great nurse, GNA Melcam is a very good one in the evening. The only reason I will give 4 stars is because the kitchen staff needs to listen more to our love ones, just with many nursing homes, they all have their reasons, nothing at 100%, some have issues with staffing and other administrative issues but for reason Peak at Fox Chase has managed to keep it together. Angela is another great staff at the facility doing a great job with appointments for our love ones. I just hope and pray this new set of people stay at the facility for a while and turn this facility to a 5 star. Please next time you are looking for a place for your love one, check out Fox Chase nursing and Rehab. They seem to have staffing under control. In all this facility is a lot better than couple years ago with all the changes with staffing. The residents are happy their rooms are kept clean, they engage in activities daily. Overall I believe things have improved at this facility.

Fox Chase was a good spot for what we needed. It was clean and had enough workers to take care of my sister.
