We have chosen the Golden Crest Assisted Living for my mom. It is convenient to where I'm going to be moving to. It's a house. The outside and inside were very welcoming. The staff seemed very friendly. Everything about it was very clean. It's just a place that you'd want to have your mother at. You're going from her own cozy home to another nice cozy home. I only met with the executive director, who spent a lot of time with me. We went in-depth, and then we took a tour. She was very, very helpful and very attentive. When you walk in, the place looks great. They schedule daily activities. They have two sunrooms with books and things that would keep them busy or have different interests. The puzzles are always out. From what I could see, it seemed like there was a lot of activity. They have day trips periodically. They have a bus or a shuttle, and they go out for lunch or ice cream, or whatever's locally around.

I visited Golden Crest Assisted Living, and it was extremely bad. The place was nice, but the problem was one of the administrators. She was terrible. She said they do not want me to come back. I only made two comments. She also said they can pick and choose who they want. I think the rooms were smaller. I was very disappointed with them. That woman said some stuff that was really mean.
