My dad is at Maryland Masonic Homes. It is a nice facility with really caring staff. My father has dementia, so he's in good health, but he is not in his right mind. The place is very clean. Because of COVID, the dining is now shut down and they do in-room dining, but normally there are three restaurants here. Normally the clients eat in a restaurant, they can have guests, and you can have a meal with them, but due to COVID restrictions right now, there's in-room dining only. There are all kinds of activities, but again, right now due to COVID, social distancing helps very little with doing a lot of the activities. They have therapy and a fitness room. They also have therapy on site. They play different board games, and they do puzzles for the clients to help them with their memories. So, they try to do things like that. The services he gets is probably a "four," and he gets a lot of services here.

My friend was in Maryland Masonic Homes. She hated it; apparently her food was served cold. The facility was beautiful in the exterior. She fell in the bathroom one day, and had trouble getting up. A staff member came in and looked at her and said, "you got down there, you get up." There didn't seem to be any complaints about the cleanliness, but some of the staff were insensitive at the least. Her son took the Uber and food out there so she would have a hot meal. She was not happy there from the moment she stepped in the door.

My mom moved into Maryland Masonic Homes. The rooms were very nice, very well-kept up, very pretty, and theres a lot of room in them. The staff is extremely caring, constantly calling, checking, and letting me know whats going on. Everything there is just outstanding. They offer everything from little clubs to meetings, to selling things, to ceramic. They have music every other day for the residents to listen to. The food is excellent, its like going to a restaurant. I would recommend it to anybody and everybody.

Maryland Masonic Homes is very nice. They got nice stuff there, and it is very fine. It is for my mother, and she seems satisfied with the food. They have old people stuff like bingo and other activities. It is fairly recent, so I don't know a whole lot about it. She's been there for a month. I don’t really know the security, but there is a guard at the front desk, and that is all I know.
