I loved Charlotte Home. But they can't take a diabetic on a sliding scale because they have less than 16 people and, with Maryland law, they don’t have to have an RN on duty, so there is no one to monitor me. The place was awesome. I went in, and it was like walking into a home, they were cooking roast beef for dinner, and the people were friendly. There was more than 1 place you could eat, you could tell that the residents were very happy, and the lawn outside was immaculate. I sat down and had a wonderful conversation with the director, and she was very informative.
