My mother has been in this facility for about 6 months and I am very pleased with her care. She has improved, and she likes the staff. They have been responsive to my questions or any problems I have brought to them. I would rate them as one of the best in Lexington and I am very happy about her living situation!

My mom, 91 yrs old, was sent to this facility after suffering a broken leg from a fall. I was disappointed from the minute I walked through the door. If you are a fairly healthy, senior , then this is a an ok place to live. If you are in need of attention and help you would be better off looking elsewhere. The rooms for skilled nursing care are small, dark and not good for someone needing assistance with personal care. The window shades were kept down and the lights off most of the times we visited. The rooms are on a hallway where few people walk, so no interaction with others. My family and I were very disappointed.

Lexington Country Place was a beautiful setting. There are lots of trees. It's off of a main street so there's a lot of traffic on it, but when you go back to this, it's in a pretty setting. It's pretty spread out, but it's all on one floor. It didn't have many private rooms. It was mostly semi-private, but the lady who took us around said that my friend would have to go into a semi-private and be in it for a while before they could put her on the list for a private room. It was a brighter place. There's more sunlight in it. There were lots of their patients out in the hallways and wheelchairs that I didn't see in the other two places. It was more of a nursing home than you would expect to see when you went in. The lady that gave the tour was very nice. She showed us around and was very accommodating and answered all of our questions. The dining room was being used when we were there. They were having a trivia-type thing, but it was a nice-sized dining room and it was brighter. Around the hallway that you walked to from each section, there was a lot of glass and it looked out onto a beautiful garden. When we were there, the hydrangeas were breathtaking. They were so pretty and the people could go out and sit in the garden if they wanted to. It was very nice.

We toured Lexington Country Place, and it was good. We met the man who runs it, and he was very nice and very knowledgeable. Plus, the people were friendly there. But the building is much older. It's a very old home. It is one of the older homes made into this. They have done some remodeling and they're remodeling on some of the things. My wife liked the rooms because they were a little bit bigger than anywhere in Georgetown. She was worried about our furniture, and she was thinking that if we chose this we might be able to keep all of our bedroom furniture. And the fee was a little over $200 a month cheaper. They also showed us the kitchen. We saw a copy of their menus. However, I'd say it's rather old and some of it is rundown. They're starting to remodel it and try to bring it up to date a little bit.

My mom is at Lexington Country Place for rehab. The staff members have been fantastic. They all seem to care very much about the residents and get them involved in the activities. They don't have a lot of idle time or just sit around. They help the residents feel at home. They have lots of activities, like a church service and entertainment. Everybody that I have interacted with has been helpful and attentive. The food is considerate and pretty good. My mom says she likes it. The facility is very nice. They have four garden areas and lots of sunshine. They have a church service, and they play bingo often.

A CNA Catlin was over heard talking down to a patient with obvious dementia. The place is extremely UNDERSTAFFED!They do not refill towels & they forget pat. ient meals.Ive never seen anything like it.I would describe it as TOTAL NURSING HOME.And certainly not 5 Stars! Where does this 5 Star Business come from? It really is at best marginal.I worry about the patients falling particularly on Catlin's watch.Sad really. The rooms were nice in the late 80's.The food and dietary department a complete mess-pack a cooler for your loved one if you must go there-the food was HORRIBLE!

Stay away. Unless you plan on being with your family member every day. Understaffed. Meds not given properly. Horrible people skills. There are a few good employees but majority just don't care. The residents are inconveniences. This is not a five star facility.

I would look elsewhere if I were you. They are very understaffed and it shows. My family members call light was never answered in a timely manner usually it took about 5 min. for someone to come to the room and you could see employees walking right by the room and not one of them stopped to see what she needed. One day they had left ensure on the nightstand and didnt wipe her cheek off and she had ants all over her in her bed. They also do not show that they care for the residents yea maybe the ones that are still with it they care about some but the ones that arent all there they dont care about at all. The building itself is falling apart they dont show you that part on the tours but it looks like they dont put the money into the facility that they should to fix the issues . for example the sprinkler system has on 10 different occasions leaked and some have been bad to where the ceiling has fallen down in the rooms where if it had hit someone it could have killed them. yet they have not fixed the issue but just put bandaids on it which obviously has not worked. there is so much other stuff that is bad with this place that I know of these are just a few so please take your loved ones somewhere better and steer clear of this place for the sake of your loved ones.

My Godmother has been at LCP for almost two years. For me, the best part of this facility is the staff and their genuine compassion toward the residents and the family of the residents. On my initial visit to inquire about the facility, the employees in the administration office were kind, understanding, helpful and very knowledgeable. The facility is always in order and clean. My Godmother had sessions with physical therapy, speech therapy and occupational therapy and I got to experience first hand the caring and knowledge all the therapists possessed in their respective fields. They made accurate assessments and explained to me her progress and what to expect in her journey. My Godmother was at another facility in Lexington before coming to LCP and what I really admire about the nursing staff at LCP is how proactive they have been in my Godmother's care. I have always been kept informed about changes that came about whether it be about medications or a rash or her eating habits. I am always in the loop about her status. On average I go to visit my Godmother 4-5 times a week and in that routine I have seen the continuous caring, compassion, funny, kind, smiling faces of the staff at LCP. I have a friend whose mother recently passed at LCP and my friend still visits both residents and staff because of the bonds she made while her mother was at LCP. Caring for the elderly is NOT an easy job. The staff at LCP are in a way, a type of soldier. They are always on the front lines and they go to battle everyday. Their weapons aren't guns or explosives but rather a smile, a caring touch, a helping hand and most of all compassion. THANK YOU LCP EMPLOYEES!!!

My husband has needed rehab in various amounts several times over the past year and after our first time, he would not go anywhere else. I visit daily and both of us are very happy with the staff (nurses, therapists, administration, etc.). Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Food is not always like home cooking, but feeding large groups is always a challenge. Rooms are small but always clean and we enjoy the home like atmosphere of the common areas. The administrators have gone above and beyond to assist us. Would and have recommended LCP to anyone in need of their rehab services.

My mother-in-law is in rehab right now. She is in Lexington Country Place. We actually went with another rehab facility first but we didn't like it as much, so this time we went to Lexington Country Place. So far, we are very pleased with their staff. We are really pleased with how caring they are. The rooms are not that spacious but they're clean. I think their food is probably average. I did see that someone got burnt chicken at one time, so that wasn't too good. I think they could do better with the food. I see their activities on the chart. I had seen music people come in. I think they did a good job at that. The facility is clean-looking and nice. The big thing is, I would say, the joyfulness of the staff and the real caring. It just sort of makes the place. They're very positive and very caring. I would recommend this one.

This place is HORRIBLE. I have been to visit two different family members in this facility and the staff are rude and unpleasant, they could not keep records straight or my grandfather's medications correct, left my Great Aunt sitting alone in front of her food (that she could not consume on her own) for hours at a time, left another resident's chart in my grandfather's bathroom (HIPPAA violation, anyone?) and just overall suck. Please let this be your last resort- or just make a different choice. I don't know how this place is still in business and if I could give negative stars I absolutely would.

Let this facility be your last resort. My father spent several months here, we were there everyday, for hours at a time, yet he was still neglected. They were unable to give him his meds remotely on time, which caused him to have horrible reactions, he was left lying in his feces for hours at a time, he had horrible sores on his scalp because they did not bathe him well. On his floor, nurse calls were left going off for 20 -30 minutes always. Visit after 6pm if you want to see what it is really like.

My mother has been a resident at Lexington Country Place for two years now. Because of her dementia, it was no longer safe for her to live alone. I did a lot of research before placing her at Lexington Country Place. I wanted specialized care for her medical conditions, and a friend of the family recommended Lexington Country Place to us. I was happy with their long standing place in the community and how long they have been providing care. They have great administrators that help get the process started, and who are very knowledgeable and were able to answer all of my questions. When I initially took a tour and saw the nursing staff in action I knew that my mother would be well taken care of, and I knew that the staff were well educated and would be able to give her the care she needed. I visit my mother very frequently, and whether she is having a good day or bad day in regards to her dementia, the staff is always patient and kind to her. I am very happy with our decision to use Lexington Country Place.
