Saint Anne Home and Retirement Community

We checked Saint Anne Home and Retirement Community. They had very nice staff, but it was a really old building and they had I think a fire at one time, so there were apartments that were renovated, but the available ones were older, and I don't think they would have worked very well for my sister's wheelchair. My mom would have done fine in it, but I think my sister would have had difficulty getting around. I didn't talk to all of the staff, but the ladies that I did talk to were very, very nice, and it was clean. The dining area was clean. The ladies were very helpful to the people that were living there. I didn't see the new renovations, but those were all filled.

I think Saint Anne Home & Retirement Community is a very good place. The staff is very interested in getting to know my uncle and understanding what his needs are. We've been happy with them. He's got a nice little apartment, and it seems to meet what his needs are. Maintenance and upkeep have been really good too, as well as the food. They almost have a restaurant style dining. They come in with napkins on the table, and they try to make that a great experience. We've been pleased with that. The staff has been just terrific. They do what they say they're going to do, and that's been good. Also, it seems like every day he's doing something there. He's busy. I think from that perspective, they're doing a great job.
