"We chose to move here to Lantern Crest Senior Living, because it meets my needs. There's a little kitchenette and the unit has its own washer and dryer, and that's a must for me, because I don't want my personal clothes to be part of the community laundry. The facility is like a five-star hotel. It's really nice and all the activities they have are really manageable and geared for the old people like us. That's one of the things that attracted us to this place. The staff is very courteous and they're very receptive to you as a person. So, there's just nothing more that I can ask for, especially when you're coming to a new place. The residents are very friendly, too. The dining is restaurant style. It's really nice. It's like a classy restaurant. There's tablecloth and napkins available and they approach you. They have a main menu and they have special food a day, whichever you want to choose. There's a variety of selections in the menus. We're still settling in our room, but I attended one of the bingo games, and one time we watched a movie. That's about it, but I know they have yoga and exercises. The amount that we pay for the accommodation here is, to me, kind of acceptable. It is probably expensive for people who don't have money. It's not on the high-end thing, but it's on par to what the accommodation is. It's reasonable. It's really hard to get in here because there's no vacancy. We were so lucky when we called in. They had three openings and we were able to take one of it."
