"I found Mission Commons for my brother, and he is moving in there. My father was there ten years ago, so I am very familiar with it. Everybody is upbeat. There's always nice music going on. They have all kinds of activities. Anybody that is working there, they are all pleasant, they all are very helpful. The rooms are adequate, especially for assisted living. They had just enough room for everything that was needed. It was just typical, with a big window, kitchenette, big-size bathroom, and closet that could hold most things. The dining area is beautiful, very upbeat, very open, and bright. It's very nice. Everything is always clean. It's in a beautiful area. The scenery around it, you see the mountains, very open and very bright inside. It's a nice setting for people. They have vans that will take anybody to the stores, to church, and they can always help people get to places. They have a lot of craft teams that are working with them, they go in for classes, make things, and keep pretty busy."

"Meridian at Chino looked beautiful and very clean. It didn't smell. The people were very, very friendly, and they had elevators. I was informed that the third floor had to be for people who were not in walkers or wheelchairs because of evacuation concerns. That was very prudent. Tori was very friendly and very efficient. She knew what she was talking about and she was able to give me brochures. She was able to take me on a tour and describe the rooms and what goes on there. She was able to give me a two-week menu of what they were serving, and a one-month menu of their extra activities. The structure of the building seemed very well done, and the facilities were clean. I saw three of their very adequate rooms. I liked the bathrooms with the full shower, the handlebars, and the bench to sit on. I felt that the size of the rooms was good. Some of them were larger than others. I also liked the fact that there was a microwave and a refrigerator in each of the units, and enough room for a bed, some storage, and maybe a table and chair, but as far as I know, you would be going to the dining area to eat."

"I toured Claremont Manor Retirement Community. What I liked best was this is a skilled nursing program. What I liked least was they didn't accept my mother's insurance. The staff was professional. The floors and the walls were clean. The rooms are very nice in terms of size and layout. When I stepped in the atmosphere was pleasant."

"We moved my wife's grandmother in yesterday. The place is great. They have good amenities, a small library, food, transportation, and lots of events. The staff members are very friendly. Dining is restaurant-style. The apartment is spacious and large. They have a whole host of ever-changing events with weekly trips."

"I think Westmont Village is pretty good. They have a place for woodwork and sewing. There's also a pool for those who want exercise. I'm in their independent living. The staff is very helpful and they have excellent food."

"Corona RCFE was very nice, and the people were very friendly. The grounds were good. The room is perfect for my mother who is 92. She just needs a room with a little bed, a chair, and a TV. That's all she needs. It looks like she can go out and go to the dining room area, and things like that, and they have those things available too. The staff who helped me was very friendly and answered all the questions. She was very good. I didn't sample the food, but the dining area was fine. For activities, they have a little room where people can go and they can meet with each other and play games and so on, so that's fine."

"My in-laws are in the assisted living side. It is a great facility, but they've outgrown it. They do not offer any memory care there, and both Mom and Dad need that at this time. However, the staff was very kind, very attentive, and very compassionate. They have two rooms together. All of their furniture from their home fit. They have a living/dining area and a bedroom/office area. My parents do not participate in the activities, but they do have exercise classes, mind stimulation games, and movie nights often. They have excursions out for shopping and lunch and anything that the residents need. Their food is wonderful. Everything is made from scratch by a great chef. "

"I toured Park View Place. The property itself is beautiful and everything that it offers. They're accommodating. They're sensitive to the fact that she lost everything in a fire, so they're willing to go ahead and furnish the apartment for her. I just thought that the staff was very professional and very caring, so that's what I'm looking for, and also the location. It's a great place. It's immaculate, very warm, and very clean, and it's only three years old."

"It is very nice, but more geared towards being a retirement place. My dad didn't like the fact that my mom have to take one elevator, then through an area, then up another elevator. It wasn't a very direct way to get to the rooms, and it's a large community. The staff who accommodated us was very helpful and very nice, it was a very pleasant experience. We checked the dining area and it was lovely. It was a very nice place, but it's just a little bit too big for my dad. We also checked the rooms."

"Clearwater at Glendora is very nice. It's very large, and sometimes when you go upstairs where the rooms are, it looks like a maze, which is fine, but it just seems a little informal. The staff who gave the tour seemed great. The facility itself was very clean and pretty modern. It seemed pretty new. Everything was great inside. They had a large gym and a physical therapy area."

"My aunt and uncle moved to Bayshire Yorba Linda. They can accommodate a lot of things. The grounds are kept clean and the atmosphere is very inviting. It was very spacious. It didn't seem like everything was kind of crammed in. The people that we met there were very helpful and very kind. We haven't run into any problems as far as helping my aunt and uncle. The food is very good. My uncle is not as social as my aunt. Even within memory care, they have a lot of activities to stimulate their brain, and to keep them busy. We've been very happy with the available activities. The value of memory care is awesome. It's pretty reasonable."

My father has been treated with respect and the utmost, attentive care. Meridian staff has established stellar communication with our family. "I toured for my dad. They were very good, and they also have a very pretty community. I had an excellent experience. The tour guide, I believe her name was Denise, was really great. She had a wealth of knowledge. She was very patient with my questions, and very, very helpful in helping in decision making. The rooms were actually very, very well-maintained, and very pretty. They were not too big and not too small; just enough. They were comfortable and like a bedroom. The community was very clean and looked very safe. The outer spaces were really, really nice as well. There were lots of trees, seating, and a lot of nice breezes. It was a nice little area where the residents could walk around. I think I was walking in just as they started their meal. The residents seem to be eating and enjoying their meals. Their dining area was also very adequate, and looked comfortable."
