Dear CD, we appreciate feedback in all situations and use the information to evaluate opportunities to improve upon the services we provide those who call our community home. We are disappointed that your experience, after five years, did not meet your expectations. We are also understanding of the emotional impact on families when recommendations for care are made that families may struggle with, like a transition from assisted living to memory care. However, our responsibility to make those recommendations based on our evaluation of resident needs is a critical component of our services. We made every effort to provide you and your family with guidance and information, as well as ensuring your mom received quality care. After several hospital stays, your mom's care needs exceeded our scope of care requiring a move to a more appropriate living environment. These situations are always difficult, and we are empathetic to the emotional impact on our residents and families. It is unfortunate that the care provided is misrepresented here. We miss your mom and wish you and your family nothing but the best in the future.
