About Ravenswood Supportive Living in Chicago, Illinois
"Get to know us before you need us.” The Ravenswood Supportive Living program is certified by the Illinois Department of Health & Family Services. This program is designed to promote independence, dignity, respect, and well-being for residents in a cost-effective manner. Depending on an individual’s financial and health status, Medicaid may assist with a qualifying resident’s cost of service in the Supportive Living Program (SLP). Illinois developed the Supportive Living Program (SLP) as an alternative to nursing home care for low-income older persons under Medicaid. By offering personal care and other services, residents can live independently and take part in decision-making. Personal choice, dignity, privacy, and individuality are emphasized. The Department of Healthcare and Family Services has obtained a “waiver” to allow payment for services that are not routinely covered by Medicaid. These include personal care, homemaking, laundry, medication assistance, social and health activities, recreation, and 24-hour staff to meet residents’ scheduled and unscheduled needs.
The resident is responsible for paying the cost of room and board at the facility.

Ravenswood Senior Living program is designed to help seniors achieve a comfortable and rewarding lifestyle. The services we offer are personalized to fit each guest’s individual needs.
Along with our bright, inviting common areas that offer a variety of other activities, Ravenswood Supportive Living offers its residents a selection of comfortable floor plans to choose from.

- Kitchenettes
- Three meals a day along with snacks
- Utilities such as cable and phone line connectivity
- Housekeeping & Maintenance
- A Full activity program
- A Wellness program
- Nursing staff on site
- CNA’s 24-hours

Ravenswood Supportive Living offers its residents a wide range of amenities and services to add to their comfort and enjoyment of our campus.
