The Staff are a bunch of gossiping females, no breakfast, no lunch, no loyalty to residents, very scary. We don't even know who's the owner

I toured Montclare Senior Residences of Galewood, and it's actually one that I am trying to move into. They had a good and nice facility. It's in a nice neighborhood with mostly houses around there. The lady who helped me tour the place was nice; she showed me everything. It was very clean, and they had sandwiches. She said that even though the pandemic is going on, they had sandwiches that were wrapped that they give out. They had exercise, a hair salon if you need to get your hair done, and the rent was much more reasonable than the other ones I have seen. The rent was cheap. The hallways and elevators were clean, and they seemed to be fairly new, like they may have recently built it. The dining area was closed, but the staff told me that if people were hungry, they could probably purchase a sandwich for $1.50 or $2.00. The area outside was clean, with nice houses around. I noticed that the security wasn't that great. Anybody can walk in and out. There's a button or some buttons that you push to get in, but if the door is already open, anybody from off the street can walk in. There's nobody really watching who comes and who goes.

My visit at Montclare Senior Residences of Galewood was pretty good. They offer the residents so many activities. The place looked nice, and the rooms were pretty big. I liked it. The people who work there were pretty good, and they were interacting with the residents. Our overall experience with the office regarding the application process was pretty good. They're very helpful. Due to what's going on with COVID, they restricted everything. We don't know when it's gonna pick back up, but right now there is no activity going on. There's a small outdoor court where they can go out and sit when the weather permits. It's definitely well-maintained, and the maintenance is working around. They follow precaution and I like that. The staff had on face mask and everything.

I only met one staff at Montclare Senior Residences. She was extremely professional, and she answered all of my questions and concerns. The facility was extremely clean. The apartment that we saw was brand new. It had white walls and white carpets. Everything was clean. They had a calendar of activities like outings where they could do grocery shopping or clothes shopping. If there was one thing they can improve on, it would be to make the apartments a little bigger.

Montclare Residence was bright and big. It was more of a community feel or home feel meaning that it was small and you know everybody. It was more of a home feel than a nursing home. The room is spacious. The dining room was open, and there were windows. The place was neat and clean, and parking was very spacious and accessible to the front door. They have array of activities like exercises and a lot of different stuff.

Montclare Senior Residence has everything a senior would possibly need. The place is perfect. They have a workout room and doctor's office. I really like their parking. The staff were pleasant and very informative. If they have had what I need that is available at the time that I wanted to move, I would have chosen Montclare over any other places that I looked. It is convenient as it was a 15-20 minute drive from where I work.
