The WellStar Windy Hill Hospital-LTAC facility is an assisted living/pulmonary rehabilitation center in Marietta, GA. I've visited a very close family friend at this facility almost daily for the past 17 days, during which time I've had the opportunity to meet and speak with some very caring and professional nurses, doctors, and support staff. The care-coordinator to whom my friend was assigned has been absolutely wonderful...very helpful, very professional, and genuinely concerned for his well-being. The facility is clean and well-maintained. An overwhelming majority of the staff has been friendly, professional, and compassionate. As I'm sure happens at all facilities of this nature, there have been a few nurses and other staff members who have, on first (and second) impression been less than caring, and much less than compassionate. It is my hope that those few individuals were just having bad days...every day I encountered them. Overall, I do believe that the WellStar facility at Windy Hill Hospital would score well above average for assisted living facilities.
