My aunt has found a place in The Piedmont at Buckhead's assisted living, and she's happy where she is. We narrowed it down to a few places. We went to them and checked them out, and that seemed like the best fit for her. She's really happy there, which is wonderful because not everybody's happy about that transition, but she is. The place is beautiful, and the whole facility is just top-notch and gorgeous. The apartment itself is just so perfect, and it's so easy to navigate at my aunt's age. It's well designed. They have a library, a gym, a media center or a media room where they show movies, and a pool and a deck. It's cool. She doesn't swim, but it's out there. I think the facility is fantastic. She is very happy with the food, and the independent living dining room is so nice. It feels like you're going out to a nice restaurant. The staff members are all lovely. Everybody's very good at their job, and they're very kind. They have all kinds of things like creative writing, fireside chats, a walking group, and exercise classes. They also offer services and other kinds of art classes. They have a thing called Yappy Hour that happens, I think, once a month, where the residents get to go out on the patio, and they bring in a little dog that comes from the groomer that gets to hang out with all the residents. They show movies a couple of times a week, too. They have a lot going on. They also offer transportation, so if somebody wants to go somewhere, all they have to do is say it. They have excursions to places like the High Museum and the Symphony. I think the value for money is great. It's not the most expensive, and they hit the mark for their residents, which is wonderful.

I was able to visit The Piedmont at Buckhead. It was very well put together. Everybody was really nice. The facility was very nice and well-kept. I have no negatives to say about the building. The only thing is it's a bit high-priced for me, so that's one of my biggest drawbacks at this point. Even with my A&A and my increase in my social security, it is still not enough to cover it. However, everybody was really very nice and cordial. Everybody I met, the staff and the residents, were friendly. I had lunch there yesterday. The food was very good. They have everything there. They even have a swimming pool and exercise machines. They have therapists there to help you work them and/or to work you out on them. They have a lot of games and entertainment. It really is a topnotch facility in my opinion. I would love to go there, but I can't afford to go there.

The Piedmont at Buckhead is a nice place. Most of the staff are very nice. The offer activities from almost 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. They have two movie theaters and two restaurants. They have Bingo, dancing, and music. The place is nice, but other than in the front entrance, the carpets are not that clean. We pay a lot more than we are receiving because of the food. The food is terrible.

I liked it very much. They had all the facilities that I was looking for. The people were very pleasant, and from what I saw, I liked it. They had assisted living and independent living in the same building. It was very nice. I wouldn't rate it a five because at the entrance I saw somebody, and I didn't like the attitude of that person. I asked a question, and I wasn't answered in the right way. But the lady who took me around, she was very nice, very pleasant, and very good. They had memory classes, physical exercises, and they had a reading room. I thought the rooms were OK; they were acceptable. The one thing that I liked was that the apartment I saw had a dryer and a small laundry facility, and I liked that. To me, that is very important.

Dad will be in assisted living. We've put a deposit down, but he hasn't moved in yet. I liked it better than everything else I saw, from its look to the residents, to everything else. The room is small but wheelchair accessible. They have fitness programs, field trips, movies. I like that it wasn't filled with sick people.

It is nice. It is very fancy and very upscale. Physically the place was very beautiful but it didn't feel homey, warm or cozy. It felt more like urban living. It was also big. I really thought my mother would be lost there. There were too many residents. Nevertheless, they did have many activities there comparable to the other places I've looked at.

I was helping a friend to find a place and I gave him the reference for here. I went to this facility last year and it was a wonderful place. It was very beautiful. Their location was great. It was secure. There were police all around. The staff was very nice and very polite. They had given me a lot of information. They were very helpful. I liked them very much.

Very elegant facility with wonderful educational opportunities and food. Did not choose for independent living as it is RIGHT in the commercial area and layout of the apartments was not ideal for us.
