My husband's mother lives here (she is widowed), and loves it. Peachtree Hills Place is the most attractive, upscale retirement community I've seen. They have 23 acres of land in the Peachtree Hills neighborhood (Buckhead), close to everything in downtown Atlanta. The residents I've met are active, friendly and quite social. My mother-in-law has made numerous friends, and participates in art classes, Tai Chi, exercise, and monthly outings. I've been told that Peachtree is working on constructing several new residence halls, and new landscaping, including a new park and fountain. The current housing/residence areas are excellent, very well designed and spacious. Residents don't even have to leave the community for banking, haircuts or shopping. Peachtree Hills has its own bank, salon, market and day spa. They offer specialized housing and health care for residents suffering from Alzheimer's or memory issues. We have been lucky in that department - since we haven't needed specialized healthcare for my mother-in-law. She is in good health, good spirits, and enjoys living at Peachtree.
