I toured Pacifica Senior Living Sunrise. What I like best in that facility is number one, everybody at the facility was super friendly, whether it was the residents or the folks in sales or the staff, everybody was open and welcoming, which was nice, and it did not have an assisted living feeling. The second thing I like about their memory care is that they have a bunch of little diverse areas that families or residents can sit in. They're decorated differently and they have different themes. They're all spread out throughout the whole memory care area, which was nice, super relaxing, super restful, and just really nicely done. The other thing that I particularly like is that the facility, while it's an older building, was super well-maintained and everything was nicely kept updated and in really good shape.

I toured Pacifica Senior Living Sunrise. It was very nice. The lady that took care of me was very, very nice. The staff was very nice. Everything else over there was wonderful as well, of all the offers, everything was downstairs. It was very handy. I did like it. I was going to put Mom there until I saw the outside area over in the other place. Elaine was very nice. They have more stuff to offer over there. They had a mass on Sunday that Mom could attend. So, that was a plus over there.

The tour I had with Pacifica Senior Living Sunrise was OK. The rooms were very nice because for independent living, what they had is you have a room, but there's like three rooms off a common area. So, everybody has a common area and you are getting more, because you have a bigger kitchen and maybe some social interaction. The staff was very good. They brought us lunch. We were so busy that I didn't eat most of it, but the food was fine.

We liked Pacifica Senior Living Sunrise very much. It was clean. It looked like they had a lot of activities. I liked that they had a variety in their menu for the meals. They had a meal for the day but if you didn't want that, they had a deli. So, it wasn't like "This is what we're eating today and that's all we have." My interaction with the staff was very nice. They were very detailed about everything. When we came, they were very open. They answered all of our questions. The size of the rooms was nice. The person who gave the tour was very knowledgeable.

I went to Pacifica Senior Living Sunrise. I liked all of the amenities that were offered. All the services, the meals, the accommodations, and the rooms were very nice. What I didn't like the most was the cost. It was just out of our price range. The staff was very knowledgeable, very friendly, and very welcoming. The building was very clean and in good order. Good layout for the rooms, and a good size for a private room. Companion rooms would be a little tight.

We have found Pacifica Senior Living Sunrise for my mom. It was a very homey type of feel. Everyone was very personable and friendly. They seemed to care about the patients. They have an outdoor patio area for memory care patients as well as the ALS section. Elaine was the one who gave us the tour and was fantastic.

Pacifica Senior Living Sunrise was good. The expense was a little above my friend's pocket, but other than that, the review was as good as the other place. The staff was good. She gave me this tour and all the information on the facility. I didn't try the food but from looking at the menu, it was the menu you would love to have for a family member, especially the elderly. It was the meal of the day because every day they have a different meal. It was Christmastime and they were singing and playing Christmas carols. They had movies and some were in the movie theater. They have a little movie theater, which is fantastic. They had a lot of Christmas activities going on at the time.

We like Pacifica Senior Living Sunrise the best. It was clean. The units were very nice. There was a wide variety of activities that were offered. The price was very reasonable. The staff seemed very friendly and happy with their job. The place smelled clean, which is important. The residents all seemed like they were happy as well. They have a pool and water aerobics. They have a bar, so they have happy hour once a week. They have an ice cream parlor. They have a movie theater. They have an art room for art projects. They do rides to different shopping centers. They have a doctor and they have a beauty salon. They have a clinic for minor illnesses or injuries that you'd want to go to see a nurse for. The dining room was beautiful and very elegant, and the food choices seemed to be varied and nutritious. I also liked that everything was basically in one building. You didn't have to go outside to get to anything that you needed.

I went to tour Pacifica Senior Living Sunrise. It's too much money. It looked alright. My dad had to share a room. He doesn't mind sharing. He has somebody to talk to there because he is very friendly. There's somebody next door with him. They don't have appliances there. No bed or TV. It's an empty room. They have a dining room for eating and things like that. They have a whole lot of stuff there. Everything looked nice. It looked good. You have everything there. The person who took me around was very concerned. I enjoyed that she took me around and showed me what they had there, but the price was too high.

Pacifica Senior Living Sunrise seemed quite depressing because of the way the residents were just hanging around. They seemed uninterested and not at all engaged in any activity. I was not impressed. The staff I interacted with were very kind, very nice, and very knowledgeable. However, the amenities didn't seem as elaborate as the other ones. I saw a library, an activity room, and a game room, but they didn't even have a park or a proper green area, at least I didn't see one. It's older and it needs some renovating. I didn't see any evidence of any renovation going in. I think it's a little past its prime.

I toured Pacifica Senior Living Sunrise. They were wonderful. The price is really reasonable compared to other places. The staff were wonderful. They followed up and they answered right away. They're awesome. They were the newest upgraded facility. Everything was modern, and it wasn't dingy like other places.

We had a great experience with Pacifica Senior Living Sunrise. The business coordinator that we spoke with was just very knowledgeable. She was very comforting and very helpful. We've kind of been going through a crazy nightmare with my mom, and both my sister and I visited and we left there just feeling hopeful. The people there were happy, and the people that worked there were friendly. The place was clean. The rooms were nice. Yesterday they were having a huge fundraiser/baby shower for one of their employees, so a lot was going on. There were a lot of people sitting in the front. They did that in their ice cream parlor. She showed us all of the things that they had, the library and the movies. We're highly considering putting our mother there. The atmosphere seemed positive. The inside was immaculate and it looked like a lot of work had been going into it. The outside of the building is old, so they could maybe use some pressure cleaning and painting, but it certainly wasn't something that you pull up to and would look at and think it was horrible. They could freshen that up a little, but I feel like they're working on that.

Pacifica Senior Living Sunrise was beautiful. I toured the memory care and I considered putting my mother there. The staff was welcoming. It was clean and the residents seemed very happy. It was in a quiet area. Not near a busy street or traffic. It was very welcoming. Elaine was very considerate. She just emailed me, wanting to know if I had made a decision. I met some of the residents. They were in the hall walking and they seemed very, very happy to be here. Staff recognized them by name, stopped, and talked to them. They didn't mind being there. It was like a new family for them.

Pacifica Senior Living Sunrise was immaculate. It was clean, happy looking, and bright. The staff was very friendly. I was greeted well, and I wasn't rushed. They spent a large amount of time taking me to both sections of the building. The menus and the activities were wonderful. Sometimes, they assist the memory care residents to participate in the activities at the assisted living. The 1-bedroom apartment was fine for one person, but my wife would probably be claustrophobic if she'd take the shared room.

I really liked the salesperson at Pacifica Senior Living Sunrise. She was excellent, very honest, and very thorough. She showed me around the whole place. She showed me all the different models and the activity rooms. She was real patient with me and my questions, so I appreciated that. I saw a happy hour going on. I saw a library, an ice cream parlor, a dining room, various sitting rooms, and a movie room. It was clean and spotless. It was pretty modern looking as far as assisted living facilities go. They did have transportation, and they go shopping a couple of times a week. The facility was cozy, almost like a lodge. It was really nice.

My friend is now at Pacifica Senior Living Sunrise. The tour was great. It gave me a lot of confidence in recommending it to her since she was in rehab when I made the arrangements. The tour made me feel confident that when she got out of rehab, I think she would enjoy the place, and she seems to be. I was very impressed by the tour, I was impressed by the location, and I was impressed by the facilities. I have not heard any major complaints from my friend. She seems to be acclimating, and she had a very good time at the Christmas party that they provided. My friend told me about some activities like water yoga or working out, but it was too cold, so they just did it by the pool. It seems like they keep them very busy. She sits in the lobby, and she likes to listen to gossip. She goes to meals, and she does chair exercises. They have a hair salon there, and she is going to get her hair done. They have a beauty shop, a pool room, a theater room where they have movie nights, and a cocktail lounge where they get together and have some cocktails or mocktinis. They have a room that families could rent out if they wanted to have a little catered thing. It's pricey; it's not cheap.

Pacifica Senior Living Sunrise was wonderful. It was really, really pleasant coming into the community. We got great hospitality right away from the receptionist and the managers that assist you in the facility. It was very clean and very inviting right away when you go through the door. It would be a place that I would love. The staff was friendly. The day that I went the community was in lockdown because some of the tenants had COVID. They were confined to their rooms. The staff was very pleasant, even though we were still taking a tour. They greeted us. It was just really, really nice, and they made us feel welcome. They showed us the arts and crafts room. They showed us the movie theater and the ice cream parlor. They had a music room. They gave us a tour of most of the recreation areas.

They have a swimming pool, they do exercising, singing or karaoke, and games. They had a game room, they had a lot of sitting areas, and a TV area. They have all kinds of stuff.

The staff at Pacifica Senior Living Sunrise goes the extra mile to care for my parents. They truly care about them. They're in the process of doing a lot of upgrades. Their apartment is spacious and clean. There are a lot of activities for them to do and they provide transportation to the stores and restaurants, etc. They enjoy the freedom and the CNAs are amazing, making sure soiled linens are cleaned, folded, and put back as well as making sure my parents are taking care of themselves (which gives me peace of mind, knowing that they are being taken care of). They provide chef-prepared meals with options that they enjoy. They also have memory games, bingo nights, cinema nights, karaoke nights, and outdoor concerts.

Pacifica Senior Living Sunrise was very, very impressive. They were very friendly and informative. I would have been happy to have my mother stay there, but at this time being that far away from my brother is not in the best interest of my mother. Anybody we met or saw interacting with residents was very upbeat and energetic. There were a lot of residents there up walking around, and some of them were sitting outside on a covered patio. Everybody seemed to be engaged in different activities. I was very impressed. It was the best compared to anything I've seen. The place had been renovated fairly recently, but besides that, being very clean and updated, the personnel were just lovely, upbeat, and energetic.

Pacifica Senior Living Sunrise is the best I have ever seen. It's the best. They would take my husband every morning and lead him out to get his medications. Then they take him back and lead him to the dining room. They got a beautiful dining room with three lovely meals. My husband likes good food, he knows good food and he is very happy with the food there. The staff is very nice. When I go there and we talk to them, they talk to us back very nice. You have to be nice to the staff as well, and you will get a good response from them. If the patient falls, they will call and say, 'He fell, he fell on his back,' and I know how he lived here, so they are telling me the truth because he really fell, and he would fall mostly on his back. if he didn't eat or whatever, they will call and let me know. Anything that happens, they would call our house and let us know. My husband's room has a toilet. He has a bed, a nightstand, and a chest. Every time I go there, the toilet is always clean. It's a very clean place. No smell at all. I didn't go back since, but I went a couple of times up there, and he told me he's happy there. I never see the food, but he says, 'I like the food.' The facility is very impressive. Patients are sitting in nice chairs. I'm happy where my husband is. I didn't see the activity, but in the evening he called and he said, 'I just clapped and sang,' which he hasn't done in years. I said, 'OK, you enjoy the facility. When you're home, you're not speaking to anybody else to socialize.' And I think that is what he's doing there for him to feel happy like that. That evening, I was proud of him.

My mom was at Pacifica Senior Living Sunrise for respite. I liked the facility, the people, and the quality of care when she was there a few times. She enjoyed it. The staff was professional, polite, and friendly. They seemed to be happy and did their jobs well. The place was clean, and I thought the room was pretty nice too. It's not cheap, but it's a fair price.

We went to Pacifica Senior Living Sunrise. They have independent, assisted living, and memory care. It's a beautiful place. It's a family community. When you go there, it's like you've known everybody all your life. The staff was pleasant. They approach you as you get there, they're attentive, and they answer your questions. I will live there myself. The rooms were nice, fairly sized, and equipped with your own bathroom. It's up to you if you want to take your furniture or they could provide furniture for you. The dining area was like a fine dining restaurant. At lunchtime, the residents have choices, just like restaurant-style dining. You have the choice of going with the menu that's there or they have an alternative menu. It's a very nice place. They have a nice area for the gym, an activity center, a place where they have ice cream socials for the residents, church services, their own laundry area, and their own hairdresser. It's a wonderful place. I went to their family night and it was nice. In the midst of the Covid, we were separated 6 feet apart. They had someone come in to entertain the residents. They provided finger food. The food was good. If I had to leave because I got too sick to be able to stay in my home, that would be my first choice. I'd rate it a 10, that's how good it is.

We will be moving into Pacifica Senior Living Sunrise. When we went there, they have all these places you could sit and have a meal with your family. They have a library where you could sit, and a beautiful game room with games piled up to the ceiling. They have a little movie room, a bingo room, and others. They have a little gym, and a pool, which I can't wait for. The room that I'm going into, it's called the Deluxe Senior. It's a single room and it's around a quad living room. So, in the same room, they've got the living room, chairs, tables, and they have a little kitchen set up if you want to make something in the microwave or the refrigerator. One of the things they do is take Medicare Give Back. When I walked around, the people there were friendly, and they were not sitting with their heads down looking at the floor. One lady stopped to talk to me, and she was quite nice. It worked out well. They also have the rehab attached to them. Their staff was wonderful. As we walked through, people said, hello. My daughter asked for a wheelchair for me because the floors were wet, she was afraid I'd fall. They brought a wheelchair up for me, very accommodating. They offered me something to eat, but I was so wound up I wasn't going to try anything.

I toured Pacifica Senior Living Sunrise, and it's a beautiful place. The outdoor ambiance is excellent. The one who toured me was excellent. She was very friendly, very courteous, and very thorough. I saw several room sizes and they were all very nice. There are parts of it being remodeled, the lighting, and the flooring were excellent. If I were to narrow it down to two properties, that's one of them. One of the reasons I like it so much is that you have so much more outdoor facilities because it's very spread out, so it's not like you feel like you're living in a condominium. You feel like you're living in a big home. Once you get out of your room, you're in a lot of open space. You can walk around, they have outdoor pools, and it is very nice, it's an old property, but nice. I didn't have a chance to eat there, but the restaurant is nice, clean, and well set up. It's not somewhere I'm going to be spending a lot of time, except for breakfast, dinner, and things like that. I would say it's good and pleasant. There's an agenda for activities, they have daily activities like cocktails or get-togethers. I am very active myself, so I didn't pay a lot of attention to that. I do Pilates classes, I play golf, and I swim, so I didn't pay too much attention to that.

I went to Pacifica Senior Living Sunrise. We met with Amanda, and she was very informative, she wasn't pushy, she listened to what our needs were, she was attentive to us, and she showed us around. We were very pleased with everything that goes on at that facility. I got to see the menu, but I didn't get to see the meals. (It wasn't the time that they were eating.) It was beautiful. It's definitely something that we're highly considering if I could afford it. I got to see a model room and the dining area. They showed me pretty much everything. I saw the residents waiting for an exercise class, so I know they have things like that set up for the residents.

Pacifica Senior Living Sunrise is completely renovated, updated, clean and well managed. Originally they wanted to reschedule me, but because of my schedule, I showed up anyway. It was kinda impromptu because I was in the area. It was a quick tour, but they were accommodating in getting me in and it was still a thorough tour nonetheless. I am considering this place for my mother, but I am looking at several others. The staff was very courteous and attentive. The only thing I would have liked to have seen is more of a security gate in and out of the facility. It was immaculate. There was still some residual work being done but aside from that, it was very clean.

We went to Pacifica Senior Living Sunrise. It was very nice, it was clean, and they were very friendly and welcoming. They were undergoing construction at that time. The person who took me around was very, very patient, she explained everything, and she was very, very pleasant and thorough. She took me everywhere and showed me around. The grounds were not big enough, so there wasn't anywhere to walk like a nice pathway, or a garden -- something like that -- which I would have liked.

My mother-in-law's only been in Pacifica Senior Living Sunrise since Monday. We moved her furniture and everything in first, but she just got discharged from rehab on Monday. So, we're only a week into it at this point. But the people there are extremely friendly. The people who work there, they were friendly, and very accommodating. We like very much the fact that the facility is under renovation, and the changes to it for the areas that are done already are very nice. She's in a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment, not just a room. It's brand new, they just renovated it. So, the apartment is very clean, and very nice. It's a brand-new bathroom, brand new kitchen, brand new flooring, and freshly painted walls. It has lots of light. A very nice apartment.

Pacifica Senior Living Sunrise is very nice. However, for me, I need an oven and a bigger refrigerator than what they had in their 1-bedroom. I like it, and I told the director there that I need an oven because I'm still active and I like to bake and cook, well, they didn't have those in there. Otherwise, it is a very nice place. The staff who showed me around was very nice. They're still working on the apartments but the place is nice. On Veterans Day, they had a program. I went and it was very nice. My mother is in Pacifica Senior Living Sunrise. It's close to my house, the people are very nice, and I could see it's a good facility for my mother. The cost is not cheap, but you get what you pay for, and she is in a shared room, but it's a nice room. It was nice. They were helpful. There was someone who needed to see the person we were speaking with, and she excused herself from talking with us and went to handle whatever problem that person had, and then she came back. The rooms were adequate and clean. They had a variety of activities every day like bingo, reading, group activities, and individual activities. There was a cinema and barber or the ladies' hairdresser. There were quite a few activities going on there. It's up to the individual if they want to partake or not. The staff was friendly and informative, and looked after us, including the staff in the restaurant. All the staff basically was quite friendly and respondent. The menu was varied and OK.

Everything was the best. My husband has a TV in his room which he likes, and there’s enough help and whatever that can take care of his needs. It’s a nice two person room but large enough. There are recreation rooms and a library that he can go to during the day.

We actually placed my mother here. We liked the warmth of the people, we liked the homey atmosphere of the memory unit, and we thought that the price was very fair. The memory unit services are really based upon the amount of care that she needed. We thought that they were very caring and that they were very knowledgeable on how to handle memory impaired people. One of our family members -- my brother, my sister, and myself -- talks to them, and that's how we reach my mother, so they get feedback.

It was an older facility, but the concept of their rooms was very different which I really liked. It was a very big facility. I think they had 3 floors. They had like 4 bedrooms -- two on each side -- and there was a common living room area in the middle. There was a little kitchen with a refrigerator that everybody could use. It could encourage residents to come out of their rooms without walking very far to have a living room atmosphere that four of them could share. I thought it was very unique. I was very impressed with it.

The environment was very good. I was very impressed with it. The one-bedroom suits my condition right now. The dining area was excellent. The staff were very supportive and were very good.

We chose it for my mother because it has memory care. The staff is good and pleasant. They have shared rooms, and they are small. I think they take the residents out for lunch, and they have some people come in to sing. They also have bingo.

It was very bright. It’s like a hotel arrangement. The dining room was in a large lobby. I thought it was more modern, up to date, and clean. Because of the location, the grounds were a little bit on the limited side as far as getting out and around, but overall, I was impressed by it. The apartments they showed me and the overall atmosphere were very pleasant. I thought the only downside there was the apartments had a common living area so all of the actual rooms were off of that common area; it wasn’t like it was your personal area. The studio apartments were separate, but there was no kitchenette, and the grounds were fine.

My parents are staying here. It was middle of the road, not brand new, but it’s fairly large. It has a large staff and a good location. The staff provided extra furniture that we needed during the move-in phase, and they were very attentive, very friendly, and helpful.

The staff was excellent. It's not a wonderful experience to put your loved one into a facility; however, if I have to, I will pick them again. The rooms are excellent. The food is good. The place is very welcoming. The dining room is big with beautiful tables and chandeliers. There's no odor. All the people are clean, dressed, and many of the women have make-up and hair done. They have a salon. Doctors come in and podiatrists come in. The activities in memory care are phenomenal.

My visit was very pleasant. The tour went great and the staff was able to give me information. It was very helpful. I love their rooms. It was fantastic and I love it. I would move there myself. Their dining room is very clean. The residents were fully engaged and enjoyed what they are eating. I saw a card game where the ladies are playing cards. I also saw somebody playing the piano which I thought is very entertaining.
