The Hart facility has been so good to my mom that I find it hard to select among the highlights. The key to explaining the level of care she has received is that the owners, Rodney (a firefighter) and his wife (a nurse) really do treat the residents of Hart Assisted Living as members of their own family. Here are 3 specific instances of this (there are more). 1. When he determined my mom needed a hospital bed to ease the pain she suffered from at night, Rodney fought the Medicare system and got them to provide one for her. 2. When my mom suffered a medical emergency and was taken to the hospital, Rodney went with the ambulance and stayed with her the entire day until she was released, because he knew she would be petrified at having to deal with any of that on her own. 3. As her condition worsened during her 4th year there, the Hart staff stepped up her level of care, including bathing, toilet assistance, and helping get her from bed to wheelchair and back. They even hand feed her several meals a week when she is otherwise unable to eat. My mom is still alert and will be 100 years old this September, and I truly believe she would never have reached this milestone without the loving care she has been and is receiving at Hart Assisted Living. One final point. Assisted Living facilities DO NOT do this, but Rodney made my mom a pledge to keep her there till "death do them part" and is doing everything he can to live up to it. Since my mom’s biggest fear has always been that she is someday going to be sent to a nursing home, she needs constant reassurance, and that’s what she is getting. For all these reasons and more, I could not recommend Hart Assisted Living more highly.

The staff and owners treated my mother like a member of their own family. It was truly a relief to know that my mom was well cared for, even making her birthday and all holidays special for the residents. My mother felt like it was home for the years she was there. The rooms were large and the residents live comfortably with the staff caring for all their needs. I highly recommend Hart Living for you family members when needed.

I can’t say enough great things about the care my mom received from Hart. Rodney picked up my Mom during Covid from a rehab center who wasn’t talking, wasn’t walking and in diapers. I lived in NY and the communication I received with changing medications and her upkeep turned her into a walking, talking happy woman who was able to shower by herself. The care and concern made me feel secure. I can only describe Hart as my mom living out the balance of her life in a Golden girls home. The love, care and tenderness turned a daughter who used to worry everyday into a “I can finally breathe and not worry daughter.” I am thankful everyday to this beautiful family who made my Mom part of their lives too.

We were extremely lucky to find the wonderful team at HART Assisted Living for my father! The owners and staff are extremely knowledgeable and dedicated professionals. Even more important than that, is how loving and caring they are. They truly will treat each resident as a family member, and their genuine love, concern, and care are quite evident. They have been extremely great with communication and support and managing all aspects of care as well. They really go above and beyond care requirements. It was truly comforting knowing that my father was receiving such wonderful care!

Rodney's Hart Assisted Living took care of my step father for over 2 years. Rodney, his family, and nurses at the house all became like family and treated my step dad with loving care, dignity, and respect - taking care of all his medical and every day life needs. The food served at the house was wonderful, there were always some activities around major holidays, and coming to the house to visit was a pleasure. You can trust Rodney and Hart Assisted Living with your loved ones.
