This facility is a disgrace to humanity. I work in a medical office where I see many of their patients every day that have been transported to recieve care from us. Most all of the patients are filthy and haven't been bathed in days. They come in wearing the same dirty food stained clothes day after day. We have written letters to the "higher up's" of this place, and also have called and spoken with nurses at the nurses station to please have the paitent cleaned and in new clothes the next day when they come to us. Very seldom does this ever get done. It is a sad and terrible thing when no one can help these poor people that no longer have a voice for themselves, and worse yet, it seems that these so called people that are in "health care" could care less about caring for the patients at all. I would NEVER put anyone in this place if my life depended on it.

The "care" is very poor or nonexistant in this facility. The residents are unclean, left in soiled clothing and are not given proper medical care. It must be easier just to ignore the obvious and just collect a paycheck. This is a warehouse for those who cannot care for themselves and are at the mercy of employees, who really have no empathy nor respect for their residents. I don't know why this facility hasn't been shut down by the state. I would never place a loved one in this facility. Shameful and sad.

I have frequented Jacaranda Manor many times within the last year and this account is not just of one occasion but of every visit to the facility. When approaching the facility from outside it looks as if it is a cleanly place and up to standards. When you step in the front door (after being buzzed in) you are overwhelmed with an immediate putrid smell. Patients who seem to be in dire attention are wandering the halls with no assistance. The smell only intensifies as you get deeper within the corridors facility. There seems to be a sufficient amount of staff on hand upon all my visits yet the conditions never differ. When talking to the staff to find a room number or a particular wing, or section of the building I am greeted with an attitude and disrespect, nothing about the staff could be called comforting to say the least. I do not know how the employees can continue to work there, or how the establishment is still in operation. I would never recommend someone to move their parents, or their self into this facility.
