We went to visit the Sunset by Sea assisted living facility since we were already in the region, looking at places for my friend's mother to live. The well-tended grounds were vibrant, with nice flowers and plenty of nice trees and shrubs. The foyer was fresh, bright and airy, as was the whole facility. The private housing options were all lovely and looked personalized. The staff takes residents on weekly outings for shopping and entertainment - and excursions to the beach and for nature walks. The dining room was restaurant style with many delicious looking options. The meal and snacks we saw looked really appetizing. They also had a private dining room for resident's friends and family to enjoy. The fitness room included good equipment that was easy to use, as well as exercise classes. The private housing options were all lovely, with nice colors, personalized touches and comfortable furniture. All of the residents we saw looked very happy. This was one of the better facilities in the area and we were impressed with what it had to offer.
